  • It would cost $2000 just to get a bunch of lazy UAW workers to put that thing together.

  • Oh My God !!!!... "Bahut kosht/parishani karta hoga" !!! Here comes the pain ! I'm telling you...In India there is no place to park... really... No matter that it is small size... most towns were designed for pedestrians ONLY ! before the car was invented... Wait & see the fun now that hundreds of thousands of these "Nanos" will ply the streets. Also the wheels are to small diameter for the pot-holes abundant here & there. Anyway, I want one ! Ha-ha-haaa... Is it water or air cooled ??????

  • Here is an auto industry executive, who has created a product which will meet the needs of his people. If only North American auto makers showed the same integrity, instead of paying lip service to the environment, and re-introducing gas guzzlers which will be applauded by their friends in the oil industry. It may not be glamorous but for India, it is the peoples' car. Also, just an aside; 500,000,000 people will be interested in buying it within the next 10 years. Do the math.TATA for now.

  • the guy looks like a dodgy eastend second hand car dealer.......cheap tacky and unsafe probably wouldnt even make 1 star on euro n-cap

  • wow. way to talk like an ignorant idiot.

Dude, that's how people in the Indian subcontinent look like.

  • learn something about Ratan Tata first. Come back and revise your stupid statement. This guy is the most loved businessman in India. Probably the world.

  • Too bad this little car is for the Indian market only. Canada or the US will never allow it to be imported, especially at that price. I have a delivery company. I would buy 25 of them at that price. Cars are priced according to the markets in which they sell. In Canada, this would be sold as a $12,000 car, but even so the government would still not allow import. Protectionism forces us to drive larger, more gas guzzling cars.

  • i thought it was an open market over there

  • No, only a select few brands and models are available here. Even with used cars, a Canadian can not import any car that is not at least 15 years old. Anything newer than that, is considered competition. The government is consideration making it even stiffer, to 25 years.

  • And They should except for high end Cars like the Benz, BMW, Maserati ect. but don't allow any Tata into the Canadian Market

  • Finally a car tiny enough for the UK, Canada and Australia! When the EU outlaws 8 and 6 cylinders the Nano will sell like hotcakes!

  • imagine trying to find your tata at a shopping center carpark if sales hit 10% of the market share.i'd luv to pimp one of these , Is it Ugly hell yeah but i can see it getting a cult following. At least it would make other car makers rethink their designs and bring prices down in the long run. good to see a cheap alternative.

can you imagine how cheap a second hand one would be. If it gets stollen you could always throw on some rollerskates and chase it down.

  • Good thing is if someone steels your car you can run grab the bumper and pull it back.

  • Wow its an even uglier version of the SMART Car.

  • Your right the Smart Car is looking better right now but I Think I'll stay with my Ford F-350 diesel

  • tutto sto macello per sto mostro! ^^

    almeno costa poco!

  • TATA shud be proud of,, but have dey ever wondered bout the amount of CO it ommits...

  • Wow! The sound quality on this video is total crap!
