@NamiSqared My controllers work :) I use the "Windows messaging" option in "General" page in the " Config -> Controllers" settings.

Also use the "lilly pad" in the (Config -> Configure) under the "First Controller" settings.

Youve probabbly got this a bunch of times, but thanks to your tutorial I've gotten ff12 to run nearly flawless, with only a single spot: tiny lines that form a box around all the moving graphics (like party members and enemies) I know this is the trade off in having nice high res textures, but by chance is it possible to have our cake and eat it too in this case. I've noticed that with the ver 9 graphics theres a verticle line down everyones face, and with ver 10 we get the faint box instead

i have a problem.. when my emulator starts up it says x86 features detected. MMX... SSE... SSE2... SSE3.... MMX2...3DNOW .. 3DNOW2.. but when i choose SSE 3-r3068 in my plug area it says not supported!!! all my emulator can use is the SSE2.. And my frame rate is kinda ok.. and i have a 3.2 ghz dual core cpu.. any help to speed my emulator up would be appreciated.. thanks.

You can download Swiftshader. it will make your cpu process the pixel shading and will show pixel shader 2.0 in the graphics config. it will be pretty slow unless you have a very powerful cpu. if you can, it would be worth it to upgrade your video card.

Im having issues running Berserk. Movie comes in alright except some parts tend to skip and in-game it slows down to 27fps.

From what its sounding like Im going to need a new graphics card to make the emulator run faster. Either that or Im going to have to get swap magic and slim ps2 flip top.

No it's your CPU that is the problem, its a good cpu but Pcsx uses only 2 of the 4 cores and there are no plans to extend to quads in the near future (stated on their website) This emulator greatly benefits from more powerfull cpu's like an Dual core 3ghz or even a quad at 2.8ghz (2.6 minimum)

but i'd suggest putting in another graphics card like the ati HD4850 for around 80$ (€)

your whole system would benefit from it (especially real pc games)

mmm..not, you are wrong, the X2,X3,X4 proccesors don't multiplicate the speed in one time. You will run the game at 2.1 ghz not 4.2 ghz.

It's not even close to, the math is not 2.1x2=4.2, doens't work like that, when your application req a 3.0Ghz single core and you have a 2.1 dual you'll only get the 2.1 and fall 0.9ghz behind, dual cores is only good for multitasking or some games that req them. BTW a 4.2 processor.... Were the hell you got that? Do you live inside a freezer? geesh
