I loved being in CATS at my theatre.Most of the cats in the production I was in were tabby coats.I played a kitten,since they had the CATS camp for kids.My "parents" were Skimbleshanks and Demeter.The costumes were pretty elaborate,especially Tugger's oh so fluffy costume. XD

@goalie247247 Il guess doing make up is part off getting into characters for actors. When they doing they make up and costume they know its close to show time. And I dont know how they manage to do it but most actors seams to be silly fast in removing they make up and get out through the stage doors, they even faster than the audience (well maybe not at cats) most off the times. @LunaLupinTonks indeed it was. when i heard it was closing on Broadway that was my sole purpose for going to New York and I saw it twice that trip (the 2nd time i had seats right near the stage and during intermssion I got to go backstage & chat w/ Old Deuteronomy (in Ny 7 rows of the seats in the orchestra section were relocated to expand the stage)

Oh, it really doesn't. I've done full face make-up before in bright green, it stays on like a dream. And nothing touches your face, it just touches the makeup, so there's nothing to itch. But if for some reason you get an itch, DON'T SCRATCH IT. It'll look like you have pink, fleshy claw marks across your face.

Growltiger's Last Stand made the stage production, but was not in the movie version mainly due to the age of Sir John Mills (the actor who portrayed Gus) and partly due to some time restraints during the filming. It is a pity though, as the song is something you need to see to believe.

francamente no me latió el maquillaje... pero lo que si me gustó fue que se hagan musicales en México, desgraciadamente en algunas regiones como en la que vivo... la gente cree que es algo simple y no tiene idea de la preparación que se lleva, es por eso que varios musicales que he visto me parecieron desagradables puesto que los grupos que los presentan se dicen profesionales y tienen a puros mocosos de secundaria que no tienen ni la menor prostituta idea de lo que estan haciendo.

I was in CATS, I was the choreographer/costumer/makeup designer. I had to teach teenagers like me to dance at a professional level, not an easy thing but now they dance like pros! I was really proud! Do you dance?
