Sanctions stopped being a useful 'tool' midway through the 20th century. Diplomacy has run its' course, to no avail. I don't see there being too many options left in the playbook.

Sanctions!? What a waste of time! Let's face it . . . . The world is going to let Iran have nuclear weapons like they have North Korea. One of these days the world is going to experience a horrific nuclear war thanks to so many clueless leaders of our day.
