There is no story, only pretense of it.

There is no campaign, no fluent level steam - just random MP levels from original game are used and all this is called "new 6 levels".

Guess there is no surprise that this is the same 2004 engine.

There is no coop, not even MP - if you do not know, there is created a free to download original Painkiller MP edition, which has only MP and still requires a cd key. Having this in mind, it is amazing that this new mod could not include such things.

How about making a mod from the multiplayer levels of the original 2004 game, filling them with swarms of monsters, and naming it a new Painkiller game with new story and new levels? Great ha? This is how it is: this game is a mod, in which the original Painkiller multiplayer levels are being used in a non-existant so called "campaign", just filled with huge amount of the same old monsters and items and given the name of a new title: Painkiller Redemption - a sequel to franchise!

JooWood killed THE ORIGINAL PAINKILLER (except overdose, which is a great game). Joowood should quit making stupid Painkiller black and Overdose versions of their online DM maps. I bought this game off Steam a few days ago. Played it only for like 10 mins, but it plays/runs pretty OK. Glad they at least priced this game fairly at release, unlike the certain other game *cough* Resurrection *cough*.

I can tell you that first part of paintkiller i remind better than single player in black ops, it was scary, much blood , action and very big boss enemies... was cool !!! And we have black ops : Grate Promoted Movie where we have fun by pressing button :W and sometimes E and clicking lef mouse button. This is all what i wanna tell about those games. I LOVE OLD SOUL GAMES WHAT HAVE BEEN MADED FOR PLAYERS BUT I HATE COMERSIAL SHIT MADED FOR MONEY.

When Painkiller-Ressurection came out i was like: "It sucks but i hope the series will have a bright future". Im one of those gamers that actualy care how their favorite games will fare in the future and after playing Redemption too i can say only this: This game disapointed me in every way. NO new weapons, NO improved AI even after it was promised (if improved AI is me standing behind a fence and enemies just runing into it until i kill them all then ok) It felt amateurish in every way.

all the painkiller games have got worst since the first, the first painkiller was really good, most people liked it, the BOH was ok, but not as good as the first, Overdose was considerd a complete fail by most people, and ressurection just turned out to be a pile of shit.... i dont see how this new painkiller game is gonna be any different, considering the graphics and gameplay looks the same as all the others.

@AsafSchnider They just fixed up and re released the PK series with the new game PK: Pandemonium on Oct. 14, 2010. I advise you buy that and go play it over a second time, its much better from what I hear, and the original Resurrection was good too, so please, take your trolling somewhere else. Hell, im getting Painkiller: Pandemonium, and im gonna enjoy it till the fullest.
