Here I can say that all you need is Windows 7. And editing and office server and all you want. Mac and Linux do not recognize all the hardware. It is logical, right? It's unusual to have Linux or Mac and you wait that may come you need a driver. Windows 7 already have or find easy. And as you Linux or Mac fan and folsoestele. Like the rest, I have to be with Win7. I can already say that I and IIS 7 web server. :)

Yes you should get a console for gaming, but Windows is better for computer gaming.... Well XP and 7 at least. haha

For example, one game I play, is The Sims. The Sims is better on PC than it is on console. (I think) For both 1 and 2. You are able to do more stuff.

I game primarily on PC  but to keep up with the games, PC's need updating every half a year to keep up with the hardware demands of the games.

Though the consoles, you know when you buy the game, it will work and the consoles come out every 3-4 years!

Just to say that the DVD is not "upside down" inside the box, it is that way on purpose so you can see the front of the DVD in one side, and the front of the startup guide in the other when the box is closed.

All the OEM versions of Windows come like that.

My disc came "upside down". I'm pretty sure they did it so that you can see the Win7 label on the disc on the back of the clear box. And maybe so that you are more careful not to get fingerprints all over it taking it out. :-)
