  • RIP JD Salinger

  • I do love this video... The music sounds like a Radiohead's song, "Motion Picture Soundtrack".

  • Were you just lacking an actor, or was Sybil being imaginary your interpretation of story?

I really like how this was filmed. It's better than a lot of Banana Fish videos I've seen on here. Nice!

  • Pretentious and completely beside the point. Sorry, man... I had to be an asshole for the sake of truth. I hate that it came to this, I really do. We are both the same.

  • How is it pretentious? Explain and justify yourself you cock slurping bitch.

  • Cool.

I'd like to see Seymour's "life story." Starting out as his days on "It's a Wise Child," then as "Teddy" on the cruise ship, writing home from camp, defending Walt for giving away his new bike (was it Walt?), leaving Muriel at the altar (then eloping)...with this video as the ending...

We could leave out the part where he throws the rock at Charlotte...

If only Buddy would direct it...

  • i never saw him sighing, maybe it says he did..

but es, all tv should be stop-frame. niceity-nice

  • Very nice video, brought back memories of the story, good job.

  • There were alot of holes in this. For instance we never find out why Sybal was invisible. This wasn't the case in the story, and the reasons for this change arnen't made clear. Also, why was the gun between two folded shirts on the bed. Also, I thought you left out an important part in your omission of Muriel.

  • ha ha ha ha ha. "Why Sybal was invisible". Hahahhahahhahhahaha.

  • Pretty Awesome! I love this short story.

    Well captured! ;D

  • The little girl was all in his mind?

  • Wow! That was really good!

    <3 JD Salinger

  • the music is "organ solo" from "Dead man"'s original soundtrack by Neil Young.

  • Very impressed. Gr8t job maaan! I liked how u skiped, its truly impossible to show the hole story without words.

  • thank you

  • I just adore JD Salinger. My fave from 9 Stories has got to be De Daumier-Smith's Blue Period though.

  • i thought the music selection was great for this, what was it?

  • thanks suckonthis86. the music is part of Neil Young's score for Jim Jarmusch's "Dead Man".

  • haha, a somewhat fitting title for seymour glass

  • i thought that was pretty cool

  • at first i thought it would be pretty lame but finally i liked it :>

  • enjoyed it, a delusional take on a great story. I appreciate the artistic work put into this.

  • this film looks like Nekromantic. Very sick...

  • thanks. that made my day.

  • this is fucking terrible.

  • Why do you say that? Why do you criticize when you may or may not understand? But then again, it is your opinion.

  • awesome man

  • Dios mio el niño del cuanto era imaginario????? Jajajaja tengo que volverlo a leer, auqneu bueno se notaba que algo raro habai entodo..y ahora estoy asustada yo me puse de parte del psicopata en la historia. AMo a Salinger
