yet again because you liked them so much you are forgetting about Luke Perry. Luke left in the middle of Season 6, Kelly chose herself in ending of season 5. Season 6 just shows that it wasnt going to be brandon and kelly anyway because they wrote the specific character of Colin for Kelly. A bad boy artist who likes to do coke.

Luke Perry was leaving in the middle of Season 6, Kelly and Brandon were not in the 90210 script obviously and they brought in Colin. If Colin wasnt there, Dylan and Kelly would have been together anyway because the writers had to have them back together since everyone else got back together 3 or 4 times.

Its not about prefence because if you really want to talk like that then you should say it wasn't Kelly preference to marry or to talk about Brandon ever again in the end of Season 8. Bottom line, Luke Perry was leaving and Kelly and Brandon were not written in the script for Season 6 so Kelly has to choose herself. Just like you can use Jason leaving, you have to use Luke leaving as well for Kelly to choose herself.

how can you say that when they wrote how dylan was going to leave. you think they hired rebecca gayheart the day before shooting the films? the actors have to read and memorize their lines in a room together before they shoot anything. kelly choosing herself was part of the deal luke leaving. without colin it would have been most definitely dylan and kelly. everything has to be written ahead of the time because contracts dont end the day you say you quit. it takes time.

didn't u notice how the B/K/D triangle was rushed at the end of season 5? it only lasted for a few episodes. the brenda triangle lasted for a long, long, time even after the choosing. the triangle in season 5 would have continued into season 6 if luke stayed. they wouldn't have done the choosing so soon.

i dont really like to compare how long triangles are because time is insignificant. Brenda went away for a whole summer, thats why it was so long, it matches the concept of while the girlfriends are away, the cheaters will play, but the triangle with DKB didn't have a summer concept or something like that for it to last so long. Plus Rebecca Gayheart had to be introduced. You think Dylan is going to marry a girl he met in one episode? Their storyline needed time for him to leave.

I also love watching them on screen together...they make a wonderful couple!
