  • What are you pros and cons about using sand?

  • Looks awesome!

  • how'd you get your water so crystal clear? and what kind of filter do you use?

  • could i keep two fully grown angel fish in a 15 gallon tank

  • You are a great aquascaper!! i just got a crayfish and need some tips!!!

  • Nice setup

  • is gravel suitable for crayfish?

  • Just wondering where you shop at and if you recommend any places to shop. Right now im a ameture betta and zebra danio keeper and have been getting my supplies from petsmart. PLS ANSWR

  • Great looking tank..... You seem to have a crayfish in most of your tanks. He will eventually eat your fish and eat your plants...

  • @macmike1000 no live plants won't dirty ur water in fact they seem to clean my water and they last for years I've had mine since I bought them and as they grow and start to branch off I cut the roots and seperate them into smaller plants. I started with about 3 amazon swords and now have about 15 so pretty profitable inca way too.

  • wow i didnt know that u were a fan of mortal kombat!

  • Only part I, II & III.

  • @TheBettaMaster yeah those were the best lol by the looks of it you are a great aquascaper

  • Hey how long does the live plant last? Does it dirty the water? Nice video by the way mate.

  • What type of plant was the one int he upper right corner and the lower plants that are in the sand?

  • Thanks!

  • What kind of light would you recommend for a ten gallon planted aquarium?

I understand it depends on the type of plants you have.

  • You've answered your own question. This tank here uses standard 15W incandescent bulbs. They are fine for "low light" plants like the ones I have here, but you may need something stronger depending on what you want to plant.

  • I will never figure out how your 10 gal is bigger than my 20 gal..

  • what type of rock is that because i know that some rock rasie's the ph to high want what type of fish you got in there.

  • Many rocks can raise pH, but you can balance it out with different kinds of additives to the tank.

  • @TheBettaMaster Ok what additives because mock rock in my second tank of youtube not being videoed raise's my ph to much

  • API pH Down

  • Is that live sand?

  • Nope. It's Aqua Terra Brand Natural Tan sand for freshwater tanks.

  • How do you design your tanks in such a good manor?

  • WOW nice reef tank what is that silver decoration behind the tetras fish? what tetra fish u have?

  • be careful that the crayfish doesn't tear up your plants...mine did that to my live plants...i just feed it alot to keep it from being so aggressive. still waiting to see your next newest tank!!

  • Gorgeous tank. I would even say it looks perfect.

  • great tank. Ive noticed you got a algae eater, I used to have one, his name, Toby. And I loved the little guy, until he passed away a few weeks ago from old age.

  • gorgeous!

  • What kinds of plants are you using?

  • Damn i bet you have lots of money man, freaking amazing good heavenly blessed shit. LOl good job

  • What kind of tank is this? Oh and what happened to the discus?

  • What kind of filter are you using?

  • @jimgrande100 - I am using a Whisper 10 Power filter, this is a hang on back filter that came with the tank.

  • What kind of filter are you using?

    tank looks great!

  • hey i usually only keep female bettas on comunity tanks, now i was going to start a 10 gal for a male (and hopfully breed) now, i no females r good with gravle, but i like the look of sand better than gravle, is sand better, or would it not matter, and this would be my first freshwater sand tank (if it ok) so wat kind of cleaners (fish only) could i get, i really love pleco's, but r they ok in sand.... peaz answer me back!!!!

  • It's best to keep the tank floor bare if you want to breed bettas. There are no special cleaners you need to get for sand, but it's a great idea to rinse it really well before adding it. It's also a good idea to add the sand slowly into a small volume of water, then gradually fill your tank with more water making sure not to disrupt the sand too much. Even if you are careful, it can take a long time for the cloudiness to clear. Preparation and patience is key.

  • thx!!!! that helps alot!

  • love you tanks they look cool

  • nice job with the tank. also, i heard you used tetra algae control. does that work at all?

  • It didn't work for me too well.

  • nice tank u make rly cool vids and nice setups

  • very nice keep us up to date i love watching ur vids :)

  • Nice you shoudl check out my 10 gallon

  • I wish my tank looked as good as yours! You should be an interior designer for fish tanks. (:

  • if i where you ill take him out. the bigger he gets the more its gonna happen trust me ive had many bad experiances with crayfish destroying my plants

  • Yeah, seems like it's gonna happen. I'll have more space and available homes when I move my Discus over to my large tank.

  • hows the move goin i really want to see your tank

  • Not as smoothly as I hoped... looks like it's gonna take awhile.

  • hows that crayfish behaving

  • It picked away at a lot of taiwanese moss, but has left the other plants alone so far.

  • What kind of substrate is that?

  • I use plain white sand, with pockets of malaya aqua soil scattered throughout.

  • Thanks

I think I am going to put silica sand in my freshwater 30 gallon tank.

    Is this good sand?

  • how much longer till uer 55 gallon done wat step r u on

  • you have a nice collection going on there!! ypu should do a whole tour of your tanks and bettas!!! plz comment back

  • I'm waiting on the completion of my larger tank before posting any more new videos. It's been taking a lot longer than I planned.

  • it's lookin gorgeous and can't wait for the 55 gallon :D

  • that crayfish is most likely going to eat or rip up most of your plants

  • I'm keeping an eye on him. He hasn't done anything yet though.
