@Chaserpeach No. They didn't go out into the streets and fire guns at people. They spread the word about democracy and against the wrong economical and political decisions the monarchy had made. There was a riot as they tried to push through to free the people from opression, they built a barricade as a barrier, the conflict between army and revolutionaries erupted. They were shot at. They had clear political views and supported a political, governmental system. Anarchy is the opposite of that.
Though I prefer Michael Maguire as Enjolras, I was greatly impressed by Warlows let others RIIIIIIISE to take our place!!!. Amazing, nobody could sing it better! Nevertheless, I dislike his until the earth is FREE!!!, it sounds too harsh, imho.
I have heard SO many versions of this show, live and recorded, and I really think that my all time favourite moment vocally is Anthony Warlow singing "let others RIIIIIIISE to take our place....". Gives me chills every time!!

Anthony Warlow is awesome. I originally discovered him on the 'complete symphonic recording' of les miserables. It's got every line of the entire play, which means that all the battle stuff that most other recordings cut out is still there, as well as the end of the abc cafe scene (which is AWESOME, btw). seriously, go onto itunes, type in 'les miserables complete symphonic recording', and buy that song. it's well worth it.

You know what I love about Anthony? He's so into his role and he always give 110% and he potrays Enjy's attitude as "YEAH! LET'S GET THIS REVOLOUTION (sp? i'm tired) GOING! LET'S KICK SOME NATIONAL GUARD A**!" whereas Michael from the OBC sounds bored throughout many of his performances oh and during the TAC he tried to imitate Warlow during this very scene with his "Until the earth is FREEEEEEEEE!" Naturally Warlow comes out the better singer.
