hes not really "removing" the vocals from the original. i think he just turned the treble and mids down because those are the eq ranges vocals are usually in. listen to 3:47 to 3:50 when he cuts everything out but that line, it sounds just like it would if you played it without hi and mid on your mixer at home

Controlling 2 turntables is hard enough...but you'd never see a true live dj remix like that. 2 computers running Serato and Ableton, samplers, MIDI keyboard controller. Most remixes you see in a club are just an acapella over a second record. Or a DJ playing a prerecorded remix. This is a true live remix better than most studio remixes. AMAZING to do this ^&@## live! One of a kind.
