actually the multiplayer is better on ds, wich supports 4 players instead of 2 of psp version, and the controls are smoother on ds since the game was made for it, the touch-based actions (hot-wiring a car, search for weapons on trash and etc) are made with stylus instead of analog stick from psp

This is the way they should make ALL portable GTAs - let's face it: the portable systems can't handle full 3D open world anyway, so why try, and end up with a half-assed piece of shite like vice/liberty city stories?? This game has it all, is portable, and you'll lose hours in it.

BTW: I'm actually thinking they should make these as a cheaper alternative as DLC/Live Arcade/PSN for our big HD TVs, too. I'd LOVE to see this in full HD on my widescreen.

Don't be a lemming - try the game out. I had more fun with this than I did GTA:IV for Gods sake. There's ALOT more gameplay here, more than just "go here kill these" - this is GTA at it's open-world best. LOADS of variety, a shitload of random missions, and it even has all the stupid internet shit like GTA:IV if you're into it. This game even has more weapons.

The only people bitching are the ones that can't afford PSPs, and the ones whose mommies buy all their games, so they appreciate nothing

actually, your wrong. it's nothing like the GTA games for ps1. in chinatown wars, EVERYTHING is fully 3D: the cars, people, and buildings. also, the camera is not exactly birds eye view. it is looking down at you at a diagonal, isometric angle.
