No I don't think The Volturi are threatend or JEalous because Alice and Edward have special gifts the Aro loves and Bella has a gift that will become more distinct when she get's turned in Breaking Dawn and Aro knows that.

the volturi is threatened. Aro wants both of them in the volturi because he loves there gifts. Aro collects gifts for his guard and he really likes bella's. he knows what her gift is even though she doesnt. i dont think they are jeleous, they dont seem to really care about love. they only want power!!!

Threatened, yes..jealous, no. the vulturi has no time for love or other fetish emotions. i think they feel threatened because they can feel the love btwn Bella and Edward and know that its a possibility he might change her therefor making the Cullen family almost as powerful as they are.

Well, I don't think they are jealous. Not that much, anyway. Marcus saw the connection between them, tough. And he showed an emotion, wich he never did otherwise. So I bet they where a little jealous, but only because they're ''family'' wasn't based on love, and honesty. They had realized that everyone in the Volturi could just someday, leave and never come back. The Cullens are closely bonded, and tough Edward left Bella, he did come back. So yeah, I think the Volturi are jealous of the family.
