Hi, they don't need anything introduced - they'll find their own food - not entirely sure what that is though! If its anything like the bigger ones (probably is) they'll catch stuff on their legs as it goes past and move it up along the legs to their mouth. HTH!
Mine usually spawn after a water change if you want to try seeing them out the rock work.
i recently bought a frag from the LFS and i noticed little legs sticking out of it and i am assuming this is what it is. i have a small damsel fish in there with some coral is there anything i should be worried about? should i remove the brittle starfish?
@mrjdkid5000 Heyya. Your brittle stars should be fine to leave in your tank. They do a positive job cleaning up detritus in and around the rock work, and if you're lucky, when they breed, will provide nourishment for the rest of the creatures in the tank. Also, if you get larger fish in the future, the star fish may become food themselves!

what do they eat? and they never come out all you can see is there limbs sticking out of the rock
