no.. it's NOT painful. especially not real. from the looks of it it's gause with some adhesive pushed gently in front of her eye. All ya gotta do after that is apply some fake blood, (preferably spray) plus some red and black make up. I use band-aids a lot for the process. Typically, that's the easier way to go. Tons of ways of doing it. Few ways to get it done right. Great vid though. :)
