  • went up there ttoday- I believe that they used to have a viewing area- its all fenced off now

  • I wish idiots like you "bird watchers" would try this in the states. You would be shot and killed.

  • @denison336 You want people to be shot for watching planes land yet you are you are calling them the "idiots"???......

  • @denison336

    1) Just because people like watching planes it doesnt mean their idoits...

    2) I've been to the states (Las Vegas) and have got a few videos of planes landing and taking off from Nellis AFB and i'm pretty sure I didnt get shot

    3) Why come on videos and moan? Silly Moron

  • whether you are parking on the 'public' roads or anywhere near the base the face is you are taking pictures of aircraft that are not meant to be the information around these aircraft is meant to be kept QUIET

  • @fierytigress69

    WRONG!

They have viewing areas, and in these areas they dont have any signs stating that its wrong!

To my knowlegde anyway, its been a while since i was last there!

  • @fierytigress69 I am sorry you are an idot. They obviously dont seem to think the aircraft is worth keeping quiet, as there is usually a KC-135 from Middenhall parked in the static area of most airshows over here, where people can walk right up to it, even see in the cockpit, so they would hardly think its worth keeping quiet if they parked it there. Its hardly worth keeping quiet anyways , the 135 is a 57 year old design anyways ( its basically a development of the Boeing 367-80)

  • you shouldnt be parking around the base anyways. counldnt find anywhere 'sensible' because its for the MILITARY

  • @fierytigress69

So public roads aren't for the public ?

  • nice vid.For anyone interested in viewing at mildehall there is a new viewing area from the 11 end run by a farmer right on the perimeter fence ideal for vids and photos.

  • Nice, ya got one with the MPRS pods on em'. Nicely done.

  • They did have a viewing area but it was fenced off a short while after 9/11 - not sure what the reason was, but the area is adjacent to the new gate built a few years back.

  • u can stand on the pavement on the road but thats a bit boring

  • i love seeing those big boys fly here to birmingham alabama. especially where i live 3 miles from the airport they fly low.

  • I wish they would have a viewing area like Lakenheath.

  • @Wonkabar007

They used to, but now it's turned into some kind of entrance I think..been a while since I was last there though
