both my girls were born premature my oldest i found out i was pregnant with her at 6 months had her a week later 3pd 17oz she's now thirteen in the pic and my other child was premmie also 2pd 11oz emily is now 4yrs old amelia is a blessing and a godsend and if she is still alive good for her for fighting and wait for the growth spurt my oldest is taller then me now lol

Any infant born at a gestation that is less then 37-40 weeks in the term of a pregnancy- is considered to have been born premature.

She is alive and they had her propped up like that and messing around with her that much outside of the incubator? I think that's kinda cruel and dangerous to do with a baby born that early. Hell, my baby was born @ 28 weeks and I wasn't even able to hold her for two weeks or turn on the lights for like a month. Your baby shouldn't have been handled this much because her nervous system wasn't developed enough. Those nurses could've damaged her eyes with the light and everything. Ugh. This bother

This video brought some memories, all 3 of my children were born prematurely which runs in my family. All 3 are healthy, God is so kind to us. I know exactly what it takes to bring up a premature child and nurse her or him to health.
