@hennef53 Having not travelled in the cab before it certainly was a new experience, just a pity that I had only got a few minutes available on the camera.
Thanks Ralph for sharing this fantastic ride from onboard and I cant get over how smooth the ride is compared to the blood and thunder you get from steam footplates . Regards Steve
@TheStephengthompson Thanks Steve, yes it's a different world and during the run the cab door opened and the steward asked what we wanted to drink.... Don't get that sort of service on steam...
A top drawer effort there Ralph. A fascinating view. It seemed really smooth even at speed compared with your steam footplate videos. Did it seem so to you in real life I wonder (or have you used your "smoothing" software)? Whatever, it's really good. As Bob said - great production. Thanks for sharing. Chris
@khankadet Thanks Chris, no editing, that's how smooth it was. Cannot really compare it with a footplate because it's only the front of the first coach, so it's the same ride as the rest of the train.
A very big thank you Ralph for sharing this one...a wonderful view of this iconic route out of London, and you've also managed to capture the tilt towards the end of the video....Stunning production...Bob
Excellent Ralph and thanks for letting me watch it, its such a contrast to your steam footplate ride the speeds are just incredible and the concentration of the driver must be hard to imagine.... Regards Phil.
Ralph, excelente viaje en la cabina del tren y a 200 km/h. Gracias por compartirlo, saludos Carlos

Very nice to see how the train is coming up to track speed! my favorite: the curve at 7:04 min.

@ralph5407 ...newcastle brown, please!

@hennef53 Oh please, we have so many small breweries making excellent ales, Newcastle Brown does not register on the good ale guide.

@robmasterman Thanks Bob, getting the tilt was not easy as I was holding the camera, if I had been able to fix it then it would have shown up better.
