  • I just have to ask, why do yoy use that kind of bitt on him? Why not use a normal lees strong one?

  • @erikarixie The horse did not have a severe bit in his mouth, He was very square and trotty. Most trotty horses carry a really high head. People normally put a tie down on them to keep there head down, I was training this horse to work without that type of pressure and perform more naturally. Training a trotty horse takes alot of skill, time and patience. You should TRY training one and then post it on you tube so we can all see what a great trainer you are.

  • @50speedracker I was not sayding anything that would make you a bad trainer, I know nothing about this sort of riding, and i simply asked a question that are not just for this sport..... You should calm down!

  • @erikarixie Training a gaited horse is completely different from training any other kind of horse. The forces on their body with this kind of gait are completely different from any other type of horse. There is no suspension phase with a rack, to begin with, so they don't land on their feet, ankles and backs with the force that a normal horse who can only trot and canter would. To understand what he's doing, you have to forget everything you know about other breeds.

  • he is beautiful!

  • Nice Horse

  • That is a nice horse. Got a good rack. When you get him finished he looks like he will be really fast. Beautiful !!

  • The horse now carries a good headset, this was before the headset training started, and he was ridden just for the video.he now is doing better and has a headset . not like is in this video. Before you trash someone or their horse, why not ask questions and try to find out what is going on instead of just being so sarcastic.

    FYI

  • You are riding this horse with his head so cranked up his neck is bulging on the underside and developing incorrectly. He is trying to avoid his bit (must hate it) and this is one miserable horse. A hideous example of poor riding and poor horsemanship.

My heart hurts for him. Try carrying yourself all cranked up like that while carrying 200 lbs on your back. He'll be arthritic or lame in a few years.

  • Its obivous you know nothing about training or riding horses so i wont comment on your lack of knowledge on the subject, however why dont you post a video of your PERFECT horse (which i doubt that you own any) and show us all how good he is.

  • Made me giggle. Nice come back.

  • @50speedracker man that horse looks great and a bowed neck gives it more style and speed !

  • u have no idea what your talking about! why don't u come down to tennessee and say that and see what happens!

  • Juan, I can't wait to see how he likes SC and the trails we have here!

  • Yeah he loves to hit the trails. i really liked your black horse. cant wait to those to tie up on the trail it shoiuld be fun to watch

  • Is this horse part Standardbred? He is nice good luck with him.

  • yes he is HALF STB AND HALF TENN WALKER. THANKS
