  • I heard this shaykh Sadlaan was blind, is that true

  • @NasirAlHanbali Who are you to agree with such staements? Are you from Lajnid daaima?

  • Who are you? Have respect for the Shaykh? I think the curse will return to you? Sh. Sadlaan has given his answer. You dont like it thats you prblem but have adab

  • How can anybody defend this jaahil Mujrim Dhaalim Sayyid Qutb People defend him on what basis this man was a caller to KUFR jahm bin safwan (K.128) was killed for similar mistakes as Qutb Imaam Ahmed was beaten and imprisoned for the fitnah of the Quran being created yet This Jaahil Qutb Belived it was Created which is KUFR. he called to Wahdatul Wujood and he cursed sahaaba and prophets so regardless which Shaykh defends him the truth is more deserving to be followed!!!

  • @NasirAlHanbali as salaamu 'alaykum akhee, well said,

We ask Allah he guides us all and unites our hearts on the truth Ameen and saves from Kufr, Shirk, innovation and blind following

  • @flagoftawheed

    Nice Upload!! Jazaakallaahu khairan.

The translation of this was extremely poor (by this I am not referring to shaykh Suhaib Hasans translation). It would be beneficial to attach to this captions. Let me know if this would be an idea you would be interested in, I can try to help out as much as I can.

  • And I find it so wrong that people who are no where near being a student of knowledge, let alone a scholar, giving their personal opinions about what the scholars say, or 'bashing' one fatwaa with others. Who determines which shaykh is correct or not except with knowledge. I am not saying that the scholars cannot be wrong, nor am I suggesting that all the opinions voiced here are all correct. However, what I am saying is that only those who have knowledge on the issue should talk about it.

  • In conclusion, I find it sad that the shaykh spoke for 2+ hours and all that was highlighted was 'one or two' points that some did not agree with. What about all of what the shaykh said. There is no person on the face of the earth who has it 100% right in all issues, and if anyone thinks that, needs to re-learn his Islaam. We need to be more positive muslims, and not so negative. We cannot expect every shaykh to say the same thing, nor to agree with what 'our personal opinions' are.

  • Sheikh Saalih al-Fawzaan(hafidullah) said that it is oppression to compare Sayid Qutb rahimullah with Ibn Hajar and Nawawi rahimahullaah for the latter were scholars. Sheikh Saalih Sadlan hafidullah was mistaken. [Ajwiba al-Mufeeda 'anilManaahij al Jadeedah]

Sheikh Abdulmuhsin Al'Abbad(hafidullah) warned against the books of Sayid Qutb(rahimullah) 9/6/1421 in a letter printed in the book "Bara-at 'Ulamaa al-Ummah min Tazkiyati Ahlil Bid'ah wal Mudama of Esaam as-Sinani p. 135."

  • @swizzy80401 he made some huge mistake rahimullah

and sheikh bin bazz spoke against him and espically sheikh rabee hafidulllah

it is better to stay away from read sayyid qutb as sheikh saalih as sadlaan if you can disguish the mistake

which only the ulema and high level student knowledge can the you can read from him. BUt i warn out aginst reading from his books begining students of knowledge and the layman. allhu mustaan

  • @swizzy80401

This also applies to comments about 'Sayyid Qutub'. If scholars differ with regards to certain issues, you cannot use one fatwaa to 'hit' against another. Shaykh Fawzaan did not agree with the comparison, Sadlaan did. Thats the end of the story. If you take Fawzaans opinion, al hamdulillah, and if you took Sadlaan, then al-Hamdulillah. It is not an article of faith, nor is there a dire need to highlight it here.

No scholar differs that Sayyid Qutb made mistakes.

  • @swizzy80401

But it is interesting that you quote Shaykh Fawzaan but at the same time Shaykh Fawzaan Quoted Sayyid Qutb in his book on inheritance about 5 times, 'al-Tahqeeqaat al-Mardhiyyah' pg 20, 21, 22, 24, 25 (& he did not warn from it).

My point is, there is nothing wrong in what shaykh sadlan said, as he simply said what all scholars say, which is, if one does not have the correct tools, they cant read, & if they do, they can, & there is no such thing as an 'open ban' on books in Islam.

  • @ArabicCourses

what is wrong is to compare to ibn hajar and imam an nawawi

which isnt correct they put much effort in the sunah allahudillah

and shheikh albani said if you are a ulema or a high level student of knowledge who can distiguise the mistake go and read. but many ulema have refuted sayyid qutb books in saudi example abdulmuhin al abbad sheikh rabee al makhlee sheikh bin bazz (RH) many others. and sheikh rabee is imam of jarh wa tadeel stated by sheikh muqbil hadiee (RH)

  • @ArabicCourses

sheikh muqbil is mujaddid which i heard from sheikh uthyameen

and sheikh bin bazz said he was more knowledge and was muhadith. reviver of the sunnah in yemen

which hasnt been seen since imam ismalee as saanee

  • im sorry but i disagree with the sheikh on the interest part, interest which is (RIBA) is haram in everyway there is no excuse for it being halal the prophit mohamed (s.a.w) said the least of RIBA is like commiting adultery 70 times or doing ZINA with your own mother so why take the risk? for education? we need to educate our selfs in our deen and then any other will be easy for us and also you can always get a technical degree which will cost you nothing and still allows u to work in your field

  • @ElshamyWalid

    Assalaamu alaikum

Jazaakallaahu khairan akhi for your contribution, however I would like to offer some sincere advice. You are in no position to 'give your opinion', May Allaah bless you. You do not know the premiss by which the shaykh gave that advice, & therefore you cannot truly have an opinion. If you choose to not go to university, that is up to you, but to express your opinion like this, to contradict someone who has more knowledge than you i feel is rude & disrespectful.

  • @ElshamyWalid

The shaykh answered the question as it was asked. The shaykh did not leave the door wide open, but rather restricted it to 'if there is no other way'. So mentioning 'other ways' does not affect the validity of what the shaykh said.

Please dont take from this that I am advocating this opinion, as I am not, but all I'm trying to do is to highlight that it is not necessary to voice 'your' opinion over the shaykh. If you disagree, point us to the shaykh who has the opposing opinion.

  • Shaykh has gone back today and may Allah make his journey safe Ameen

  • ls the shiek sadlan still in london or just one lecture ?

  • And excellent madjis!!!
