oh sorry, july switched teams since SKT T1 wasn't so helpful on his practice and skills, there aren't any famouse zerg player in SKT i think, mostly terran + toss (bisu, oov, boxer, best, kingdom), and since STX soul was a zerg oriented team, july thought it might help him improve. then he joined them. i think

Ugh. Rock did not impress me at all. With no Corsair cover and with his pretty shoddy reaver micro [it was choosing targets on its own, I think, since it targeted eggs instead of the fleeing drones] it was over fast.

Maybe he saw that hour-and-a-half long epic WAR between Stork and GGPlay where Stork went with Sair/Reaver and wanted to do something similar...

What was the Rock thinking? Why drop the expansion instead of the main anyway and try to take down the Spire? Also it doesn't seem wise to go for an all-in strategy your opponent has minutes to scout.

Pretty terrible attempt by Rock. Not meaning the reaver allin strategy, but completely revealing it to opponent. He must have expected July to not send a scout before first lot got out, but still even overlord could've spotted this early enough for July to know spire was way to go this game even if he planned to plant den.

Looking good for July, zvp being his best matchup and he faces toss in semis, and in possible finals by 50% chance toss again. Would be nice to see a comeback for title by old pro. Has there ever been someone getting another major title after very long break, like at least 1,5 years?

Yeah that scout was quite early from july, I think the rock may have had the ramp blocked from a slightly later scout.
