Asperigi - I was on & off yahoo religion chat for 10 yrs. More on than off. I met some great people & I still have contact with some I met there. But you are right about lots of the regulars. I'd say the majority (maybe 2/3) have heavy problems & are isolated. People with mental & physical disabilities, caretakers for ill or elderly relatives, stay at home moms with no social outlet, etc.. Then there are those that just have messed up personalities & are mean and hateful!

yahoo 5 years or more ago was fun. People were semi normal and had jobs. These days its what you described.
But its easy to fix. Like a TV if you dont like the show you change the channel or turn it off.

i left using chatrooms because of the clique they have in them,either u kissed the arse of the leader or the room turned on u.its a place for cowardly bullys to go to to pick on people,who they be scared of in real life

I think people must to look for something important to do in real life, cause life is too short to spend sharing depression with people. Problems can be solve someway and life will over someday. So we must to enjoy all the moments trying to live in peace with ourlseves because depression and sadness will kill you a bit every day you live. Great video!
Yahoo chat rooms went south YEARS ago.I had a user generated room that was popular for a while.Yahoo "said" they closed user rooms because of bots.Last I checked thre are more bots.

You are correct about people who are small minded using info to hurt people. Mean people are people who have no life unless they are hurting others and that is because they have evil intent due to feeling so lousy about themselves. Love this rant!
Don't tell them anything. Don't tell the truth on Facebook either. People can use the information to access your privacy, including identity fraud, internet hacking into your banking and so on. Honest people are punnished for their honesty in chatrooms. Stay with YouTube. At least we can feel creative here. Don't let them exploit you. They're not worth it. Blessings FLETCHER
