  • Awesome performance. Met Greg Dulli in Manchester '04, fully expecting him to be a knobhead. He was charm personified.

  • any album which starts of with the lyric 'i got your phone number baby' is a winner for me

  • They should have huge, but alas, didn't fit into the Nirvana, Pearl Jam mold. Same as Dinosaur Jr.

  • one of the best albums ever.......period

  • That woman has an incredibly black voice.

  • du style, de la classe,percutant !

  • go away, guest keyboard player! that should be a guitar solo!

  • Kevin Smith is the BASS PLAYER ? ? ? Holy $%^&

  • @mattleo911 Shit that is Kevin Smith. Must've been a slow one on the directing side of things that year haha!

  • @Spookytooth25 hahahahaha! that was the first thought when i saw him.

  • that's the soundtrack to some movie.. does anyone know which one?

    thanks. amazing song btw

  • this is the performance that made me purchase their entire back catalogue... people speak of life changing occurrences every day... this was one of them for me

  • Saw them live three times; twice in Detroit, and their last gig in Cincinnati, where Bogart's was stuffed to the rafters with people. John Curly played one hell of a bass guitar, and certainly Greg Dulli's stage presence was a big part of this band's attraction to many people, including the girl who I was dating at the time. You can see Dulli in his current project, the Twilight Singers, in other clips here on You Tube. He was gained a lot of weight, but still belts out a tune.

  • ONE OF THE SEXIEST SONGS EVER!

  • Love this song and LOVE Greg Dulli

  • This fucking rocks.

  • Genius.

  • Thank you for posting that is one of the best/clearest shots of watching my brother rock out on the drums!

Thanks again and please keep this up!!!

  • I have listened to this album, "1965", at least 200+ times. Why did they never catch on? Greg Dulli has one of the best voices ever. The songs on this album flow perfectly from start to finish. I highly recommend getting "1965".

  • I wonder that myself, why they never caught on (more). However, its not all bands that have major label albums. I personally would be happy with their level of success if it was me. As far as Dulli's voice goes, I think you either love it or hate it. I cant tell you how many people I've tried to initiate into them, only to get "jesus, this guy cant sing at all !" in return.

  • Yes, I totally agree. Dulli's voice is so great to me, but others I tried to turn on to the Whigs haven't liked it. My friends are stoopid. :)

  • @635users Most underated band... ever.

  • @635users Said like a coniseur.

  • i know his ,i have this album , i live in France and i love nine inch nails ,telephon tel aviv ,shack

  • Ingenious song! Love em!

  • I can't believe these guys didn't have more success in their time. They had some alternative rock records as good as any ever made. This is the first song I saw them perform and it's still a personal favourite. Go Dulli!
