Hi Robendeca, Yes your lenses can be interchanged very easily. To remove , push the lens from the inside out. Don't be afraid to use pressure. Oakley lenses are made of an extremely durable/nonbreakable patented material, plutonite which is of a polycarbonate nature. To insert a different pair of lenses go from the front of the frame fitting the lenses into the groove and pushing the last corner in with a hard push and a snap. Don't be afraid to push hard, they will fit perfectly.

So one emailed me with a question about the Batwolf but I don't see the comment here but I will answer it for anyone else who might have the question.

The Batwolf is an Oakley sunglass with a shield that is removable by you the wearer. It is best to eject the shield from the inside, starting at the upper left corner near the stem ( or temple) and pushing until the shield pops. .

For inserting the shield push one corner in from the front . Press the shield in and pop the last corner in.

Yes you can. Not sure if you've found out yet. Flak Jackets can fit both the regular lens and the XLJ lens.

are still my favorite Oakley sunglass frame. I would say that 9 out of 10 times I recommend the XLJ lens shape for the best fit on most men.

I think it looks a lot better than the standard lens also.

The prescription limit for the the half jacket and the flak jacket

is a total power of -3.00 ( which means you add the power of the cylinder) Can you write out your complete Rx for me. I'm unsure if the + 2.00 is your cylinder or if it's your bifocal add.

if it's your cylinder then your total power is -2.50.

@shakethechecks Yes it is possible to get the transitions lenses in the Gascan S. Transitions lenses are available in most of the Oakley Rx sunglasses and all of the prescription eyewear.

Just to let you know, the transition lenses darken quickly, they take a few minutes to clear completely, they don't darken inside of the car and they will darken on an overcast cloudy, even dark day....Two pair, one clear and one polarized is really the best way to treat yourself.

The prescription lenses in an oakley radar are inserted witin the sheild itself. You will see an outline of where the prescription lens is inserted within the material of the sheild and would be your exact Rx.

Sorry about the late reply. The Gascan is available in prescription. Oakley does have prescription limitations on all of their sunglass frames.

@4RoyalVEVO Hi , I posted the answer to your question. then saw this at the bottom of the page....anyway, yest you can change the shield of the Batwolf. You will want to press the shield from the inside of the lens pushing out. Don't be afraid to apply pressure. It might be best to start in the corner near the stem.

For inserting your sheild put from the outside or fron of the frame aligning it with the groove that hold the lens.

The last corner will pop in with a snap. !!
