I can point you to the study that shows Co2 makes 2.9% of all greenhouse gas, and man made Co2 is 3% of that, and Co2 makes up 3.62% of the greenhouse effect. You do the math.

Wrong. Scientists have been tracking temperatures for over 150 years and have demonstrated rising temperatures over that period, including quite substantially over the last 20 years.
Check ou the UK Met Office or NASA's GISS as great examples of websites where you can find this data.
The period of when modern temperature readings began in the late 19th century was a cold period. Since then temperature has increased from an unusually cold starting point which is natural.

well my room has been hot for 3 hours and in the last 30 seconds it has been cooling... cars were invented longer than 30 years ago and we were burning coal and other fossil fuels long b4 that... the reason it has cooled is bc of all the precautions the U.S. has taken to fight global warming... and the reason the polar bears are multiplying is bc their natural habitat is being destroyed and they have to move to another place to live and that other place has more food and a warmer temp...

I live in minnesota, and i know global warming is real. we have animals living up here that haven't been here since the land was settled, they used to live down south. even tho we had ONE cold year, guess what? the overall trend is causing us to have an opossum problem at our house. opossums in Minnesota! that used to be unheard of

Dude!!! Before you say stuff like this you need to do your research because your making yourself sound really dumb. Scientists have only been tracking temperature for the last 20 years consistently.. and they track it on the places of earth that would most likely show any signs of temperature change.. and so far there hasn't been any. As for the possums.. idk where in MN you live nut where i lived for 17 years they were everywhere... regular meals for my dog.

Wrong. Scientists have been tracking temperatures for over 150 years and have demonstrated rising temperatures over that period, including quite substantially over the last 20 years.
Check ou the UK Met Office or NASA's GISS as great examples of websites where you can find this data.

The period of when modern temperature readings began in the late 19th century was a cold period. Since then temperature has increased from an unusually cold starting point which is natural.

2008 was the coldest in a decade, with China seeing it's coldest temps in 100 years, record levels of Antartic sea ice, and BAGHDAD seeing it's first snowfall in human history.
NASA, GISS, UAH, RSS have all shown that over the past year, global temps have dropped precipitiously.
It seems some would rather have us prepare for a "disaster" that will never come instead of facing the one upon us--global COOLING!

There is no such thing as global warming or cooling caused by man. It's been shown over and over that the world goes through CYCLES of warming and cooling, in the 70's they ranted and raved about global cooling, then we flopped a decade or 2 later.
It's all just made up to get people controlled, stop driving, stop this, stop that.
I agree we have to stop polluting our waters and such, but us causing all the world's problems is ridiculous.

No climatologist claims that each successive year will be warmer than the year before. So even though 2008 was the coolest since 2000, it still was the ninth warmest year since 1880. 2007 tied for the second warmest year. And the long term trends clearly show warming. Don't confuse weather, which will vary from region to region and year to year, with climate, which is the long-term trends.

@padinjath Yes, let's reduce pollution, but let's not do at the cost of $646 billion dollars in taxes generated from cap and trade legislation passed on to the consumer. What's the real agenda - fixing pollution or making money? There are ways to address pollution with bankrupting this country.

Sorry but I think that it's global cooling we need to worry about. When Flordia is in the 30s and where I live, Minnesota it is -50 without windchill. If it was global warming it should be getting warmer, not colder.

Yes, there are more polar bears now than there were in 1973 - because environmentalists stopped much of the hunting that was killing them along with seal pups and other arctic animals!
The population increased for a long while, but now is on the decline again thanks to warming. Would be ironic if we'd saved them only to kill them a different way, eh?

The Polar bear in the blue pants is voiced by the actor John Howard (not the politician, but the actor), who was in "The Games" back in 1999/2000. The other one I can't identify though.
