  • Yo I have this same video posted, well not this video but the Smashing Pumpkins song with a still shot of the "33" CD single's cover which I got it from & anyway, I can view your video, but mine says it's not available for viewing in the U.S. & almost everywhere else in the world... & I saw on your channel page that you're in the US like me. Why is that happening to MY video post do you think? Did you also have problems posting it ever? Do I just have to put the copyright disclaimer thing? HELP

  • WOW what an excellent video to go with such a kick-ass Pumpkins B-side track!!

  • and this song was a b-side... this single-handedly buries all the careers of many shitty post-grunge group...nice video

  • The voice on the tape at the beginning is clearly Billy...The second voice saying 'If I knew where I was going I would already be there" and the other stuff sounds like James, although it's slowed down. Am I correct?

  • My mom bought Mellon collie for me the day it was released.I was blown away by the way the album fed my soul and imagination.it was pure bliss.

  • decent movie to go with song

  • this ROCKS BIG TIME!!!!!

  • @SilentBombr

I agree. It must maybe be a silt-eye Freddy Krueger skateboard. &0-g

HE SAYS HE'S SWEET BILLY - WHITE TRASH

    internet meme

  • HOLY WAR

  • @CRUX69ER mate, after listen ti this song I came straight to this vid. I thought the same as you. Holy war

  • HOLY WAR!!!!!!!

  • LOVE THE SONG but this video pisses me off. I dont like seeing images like this without knowing what the hell is about. It's the glorification of murder and for all you yeah butt's yupies out there I don't care what the artistic idea behind it is because awful violence is whats being glorified and whats glorified is whats communicated. bet the kids watching that movie don't understand shit about the art I never want to get to the place where I can watch something like that and feel nothing.

  • @LIGHT2U4U Shut up, idiot.

  • @TheUltraDude No, I wont.

  • @LIGHT2U4U I believe it is the point to feel something... isn't that what art is supposed to make you do? It's the same as reading "Diary of Anne Frank" or anything else along those lines. The point is to make you aware of the atrocities and situation.

  • @LIGHT2U4U

Hmmm,I know this is an old comment but you obviously haven't watched this film. And if you have you obviously didn't get it.

  • @LIGHT2U4U no i understand you man, you can see the horrible stuff in the world and should be proud of it because our warped society has went blind to the suffering people go through (the new call of duty is the best selling game of all time and its about modern warfare, people just dont have a fucking clue) i also feel that this video brings completely different feelings to the song, dont worry buddy there's people out their that understand you and the world will change eventually

  • Beautiful pairing.

  • "If I knew where I was going I would already be there"....

  • ooow! So cool. :)

  • LOVE THE SONG LOVE THE MOVIE GO WATCH IS A MASTERPIECE ´`,.,*

  • good man keep it up and get a camera and some reflectors and shoot yur own sht i bet it'll be tight

  • Best band ever. Fucking epic, that is all.

  • Great matching up with the video

  • Such a fun riff to play... simple yet satisfying.

  • Only 8 minutes? I could listen to this mindblowing piece of art all day

  • Excellent song to get stoned to.

  • Fantastic video. You did an excellent job.

  • I think this song was written about a friend of the band who OD'd on heroin and died.

  • I love the new line up (the new bassist is so hot) but I wish (and I know this sounds extremely cliched) that they had the original line up back

  • @WhenILearnToMilkIt

Nah, it doesn't, bro. I wish they did too. :]

  • love it! so much!!!!

  • SUCH AN AMAZING SONG.

  • still gives me chills 10 years later....

  • Pretty F'ing awesome. Nicely done

  • What a mind Fuck of a movie!!!

  • What a mind Fuck of a movie!!!!!

  • I haven't seen this film, but I have to say that the way the scenes are presented goes perfectly with this song. The quality is impressive too, if I didn't know any better I'd think this was an official video. Very well done.

  • these scenes are from the Japanese movie "Aoi Haru". It was directed by Iwai Shunji. The movie is pretty killer and the sound track which was primarily done by a band called thee michelle gun elephant is also fantastic!!!

    the pumpkins are greats!!!

  • This shit jams!!!

  • pretty killer

  • Another Great under the Radar song from the Pumpkins

  • Best song ever !

  • song is amazing.

  • My favourite Pumpkins song !

  • great scenes and story. great fit!

  • i've always been afraid to die but i think i'm more afraid to live.

  • Even all the songs on the aeroplane flies high was good . Obviously they weren't as good but good still.

  • This song freakin rocks my face off its skull.

  • how on earth does he pick the lock without a tension wrench?

  • excellent work!

  • great song

  • I think Ive seen part of this movie. These aren't just short excerpts. They really are constantly beating the shit out of each other.

  • Comment removed

  • @TheUltraDude why though

  • Comment removed

  • @TheUltraDude lol the only asian in smashing pumpkins is iha. and that was a long ass time ago and everyone knows he didn't do shit to help the band

  • Comment removed

  • @TheUltraDude nothin to say back eh. conversation over i guess

  • Comment removed

  • @TheUltraDude outta where?

  • @TheUltraDude

I know dude. I don't understand why so many people hate on the Iha just because he is no longer with the band. The Smashing Pumpkins would have not been possible if it weren't for his incredible guitar skills.

  • @SimplySmashingPro OH MY GOD, THIS IS HILARIOUS!

  • I still like Billy and this song is alright but as far as Zwan goes I hate to say that I disliked it. I think I am better of as a fan if I just let him slide on this album. His new 44 song album is going to be epic!

  • it's the shiznit!

  • the music in the end is part of this song?

  • @mcrbarak yep

  • "Love, is a sentimental heart. And life, is a sentimental way."

    Long Live The Smashing Pumpkins!

  • whish they made more songs like this one.

  • I definitely recommend seeing this movie.

  • That movie looks rad.

  • those cues with the tape recorder clicks are LOVELY *****

  • soooo underrated fuck anyone who hates the smashing pumpkins they're too good for this world anyway

  • @JoshFF745 I know right

  • @JoshFF745 Fact..

  • Smashing Pumpkins : this is not only a band. This is the way of live it should be

  • @JoshFF745 hell yeah josh

  • @JoshFF745

Underrated by who? Not by me at least

  • Has anyone heard The Jimmy Chamberlin Complex? Fucking epic.

  • @butchermachine Yeah the Smashing pumpkins would still be awesome if Chamberlin would go back to drumming behind Billy.

  • Absolutely AWESOME!!! ~*~ Thxxxxxxxx*** ;D

  • Well ive just downloaded this movie :) this song doesnt appear in it :)

  • @darkxslaye where did u download it? i want to see it so bad

  • @darkxslaye

lol i did the same expecting it to be in it, but its not, its just a really really good edit by whoever uploaded this. fits perfectly, the moveit was good though :P except the turd in the toilet that was a bit too comic (s)trippy if you know what i mean hah

  • Yea thats it..i think i would like this movie if i would be japanese and i would know what is the meaning of that all...

for me its just building a respect in school,by absolute looser who just have quick hands and is smarter than others....atleast he cares about flowers..

  • this song is amazing, its as epic as soma.@Gamagachee i dont think adore's the best album, but it is far far underrated. its high up there for me though. if it was less billy based and more the smashing pumpkins id say it was. Melon Collie was a work of art though. personally, they have great songs on all their albums, and WERE a good band. zeitgeist i didnt like though. billy sold out. tarantula and doomsday clock were good but thats it. sp has gems on all their albums. no best album.IMO though

  • I liked Zeitgeist more than MCIS, maybe SD, not sure. I don't know where I stand on the sellout thing though - Billy said he just wanted to be great again. I totally understand what he means. Before Zeitgeist came out The Pumpkins had 16 singles total, that's what could be considered a magnum opus goal for many bands but now they're at 20 singles. Pumpkins are legendary and Billy is doing great. Plus ... I'm guessing you haven't listened to the epic United States song yet, riff at the end OWNS.

  • @Gamagachee i have listened to it, but idk. sp lost its melancholy feel. idk how to explain it. and idk, i know where billys coming from, but im guessing u dont know about how much of a control freak he was. idk, making songs solely FOR guitar hero, come on man. u kno.

  • Dude ... I know he's a control freak. That doesn't change what I think though. He was on Guitar Hero WT because he liked that the music on it could inspire younger generations. In fact, musically, he's not attractive to many people, but he doesn't have a mellon collie feel anymore because he doesn't want to right songs for the lost teenage soul anymore. He's smarter now, he learned from his mistakes and Zeitgeist was the newest results. Just accept it. Btw, haven't you heard song for a son yet?

  • @Gamagachee nah i havnt, ill check it out. though. thats a valid point, but i dont see how you can write a song FOR guitar hero. but idk. to me billy isnt the billy i liked from smashing pumpkins anymore. idk. personally, i think he should write solo stuff and just stop calling it the smashing pumpkins and just go back to billy corgan as his artist name. the band doenst have anyone but him in it anymore. i liked future embrace, idk. billy still is a great musician, hes not my idol anymore tho

  • Ok, well, I don't know where he even mentioned that he was going to write songs meant for GH, or I just don't understand you. But you see, Billy is the Smashing Pumpkins. Making 99.9% of the music, doing both bass and all guitar parts while recording, and stuff. he and Jimmy was recreating the band and D'arcy and James had the choice to join but they didn't. Since Jimmy left, he's fully in support of Billy still, so it's all still good with the name. Also check out Widow Wake My mind, it's bettr

  • @Gamagachee idk, no need to be hostile. but its just not the same vibe for me anymore, no other explination. ill check out that song, but idk. you cant have one person and say hes the band, IMO of course. he did do most of the music, but still just isnt the same.

  • I'm not being hostile, you're being insignificant (jk just dicking around is all =P) Oh well I'm glad you can see now. 50% of everything I said was opinated anyway but everything I said about Billy was true. Musicwise ofcourse is opiniated. There's alot of bands you can listen to from today that sound great and remind you of Pumpkins.

  • @Gamagachee lol :P well atleast someone isnt going to make yet another band flamewar on youtube haha. what bands sound like them today? i love Failure, most underrated band of the 90s, but there long broken up.

  • Well ... not sound like them. But alot of bands have their own originialilty from today. Like Porcupine Tree, Silversun Pickups, Screaming Females, Wolfmother, The Walkmen, Rammstein, Queens Of The Stone Age, A RAPPER named Sage Francis, MGMT, M83, The White Stripes, Isis, Electric Wizard, Boris, Arcade Fire, Modest Mouse (yeah debuted in 90's, but who cares, one of my favorite bands). And there's more, but I can post so little. But Soundgarden regouped!! Yaaaay haha

  • @Gamagachee i have upmost respect for you for naming Electric Wizard

  • lol thanks they're one of my favorites.

  • I only really agree with Screaming Females, but the again I havent listened to the Walkmen, Sage Francis, M83, Isis, Electric Wizard, Boris, or Arcade Fire....

  • Alright, well, M83 almost reminds me of them, and Electric Wizard is basically our modern day black sabbath. Walkmen is an amazing indie band but with such energy they aren't your normal every day band. Boris is a japanese band ... but fucking awesome. Arcade Fire, you might have heard them atleast 5 times during the superbowl with their song wake up. Sage Francis is a great lyricist and DEFINITLEY not an every rapper. Isis is an amazing stoner band that just owns.

  • i am so devo i cant get this song on itunes with out paying $200

  • Siamese Dream is number two behind Mellon Collie

  • ooooh i loved siamese dream, that whole entire album was good

  • Each entitled to their own opinion but I don't feel Adore is their best album. That would be "Melon Collie ", an epic work that is surely one of the greatest of all-time.

  • This is obnoxiously dramatic. the music is pretty cool tho

  • I love this song it's so dark and powerful

  • great video manipulation .

i think you explored both song and film the bestest possible way .

i've watched only the first 40 seconds, and then i knew i had to watch this film. i've just watched it, and then i went here to watch the entire video... and, i'll say it again: great work

    ^^

i love the intro and the ending .

  • very well done, especially the ending

  • Was this on the Judas disc?

  • @Disasterpiece133

It was on the Thirty-Three single, both the regular and The Aeroplane Flies High box set versions.

  • One of the best fan made music videos Ive seen, great job on a great song

  • i take my secrets to the grave blablabla...hhahahahahahmwuhahahah

  • Smashing Pumpkins Gish, Siamese Dream, Pisces Iscariot, Mellon Collie and The Infinite Sadness, Aeroplane Flies High Box Set, Adore are the best albums in the history of music to me, I didn't care for the Pumpkins really after Adore, didn't like Machina at all, haven't even bothered to listen to their newest cd, but all their stuff from 1991 through 1998 are my favorites of all time

  • @mugabezuwane i like your taste... i really like all of the albums in cluding machina, the newest has some brilliant moments for the true pumpkins fans..im sure you will be pleasently suprised if ya give it a WHIR...

  • @rockerman443

It reminds me of Machina era material sound wise but much better, nothing on Gish, Siamese Dream, Melancholy or Adore, but better than Machina 1 and 2

  • well done... but the newest isnt so bad

  • That is really gay....

typical old pumpkins fan that always lives in the past and ignore their new work. Adore is their best album btw, try listening to Behold! the nightmare again. It sums up the whole album.

  • are you on friggin drugs or something??.. you rate an album using a drum machine over this???

  • I've been listening to The Pumpkins for over a decade, I know what I'm talking about. The Pumpkins were on the edge of the carrer with Adore, and Jimmy had to be kicked out that day, saving his life. Besides SD, Adore was another hard time in Billy's life, his mother Martha dying, hence the song For Martha was created. It had to be done. Adore was Billy's best lyrical work, really dark and ambient, I'm a Nine Inch Nails fan so I lean alot on Adore. And I only do pharmacy drugs, so sue me.

  • actually - i fully commend your reply and humbly pass on my apologies. in no way can i argue your definition for your first comment and i must admit i misread your direction. Dark and Ambient are probably the most descriptive words you could have used and again you are correct. sorry for my shallow misjudgement of your general intention, but i will stand strong on one thing - T.A.F.H is a fantastic piece or work, if not for differing reasons to the adore tracks, and is not gay by any means!!

  • Oh, I didn't mean to call that gay, I thought your opinion on everything after T.A.F.H. was gay. But thanks for the apology

  • You should really check out Zeitgeist. I think some people don't get into it because it's simply too complex for their ears... it's Billy's rock songwriting style firing on all cylinders.

  • badass song! long live SP!

  • what album?

  • this is my favorite song by them, along with their song "By Starlight", "Thru the Eyes of Ruby"" and "XYU"

  • I never liked the end of MCIS as much as the rest. I don't get it I guess.

  • yea must take a certain taste, my favorite cd by them is the Infinite Sadness cd of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. I remember I used to listen to cd everytime I was in my car, like every song on it and most songs that are on it I think are their best. I also like most the songs on the Mellon Collie cd, overall, my favorite album, double cd or release, whatever you want to call it, is MCIS.

  • holy fuck this makes me want to deadlift or fucking kill everyone i hate

  • This song gives me the chills. It's amazing.

  • how do they make that sound right in the beginning of this AWESOME Song?? Syntheizer??

    SP ROCKS!!

  • @blindbaby96

sounds like a pick scratch. take the edge of the guitar pick and slide it up or down the strings

  • pic slide on string

  • You did a good job mate, well done.

  • i love this song, I didn't know it was from that movie soundtrack..I'm gonna watch on it immediately, it looks very good and deep

  • it's not from the movie soundtrack

  • this song damn is really sick!

  • wats the movie?

  • blue spring

  • Best of SP!

  • Badass motherfucking song

  • i hardly ever comment videos, but this favnvid actually made me want to watch this movie. and i did, and it was amazing! thanks so much. (:

  • this song is a real mother fucker, like in the ass bitch

  • OK, then, who agrees that this is there best sounding hardest rock song that they have created ?

  • I agree that (along with spiteface) this is there hardest song.

  • X.Y.U is pretty heavy/hard/fucked up. This tune has the heavy drone type riff with the drop tuning on Billys guitar. Overall though xyu is heavier

  • Who else agrees that this is their hardest Rock song they got

  • no, marquis in spades is

  • I think they have harder songs but they aren't this good.

  • DROSS

  • Its one of the best songs they did.. im not one to buy singles... but i still have this somewhere in a box... was one of those i played over and over again... seems all the more dark in this clips context.. but used excellently... has an amazing amount of power this song.

  • It's odd, how such an epic song like this is so totally unknown and underrated.

  • It's not even on itunes

  • What? *Facepalms* that's sad...

  • i couldn't agree more - thank god i bought this box set!!

  • @Gamagachee this song isn't that great...i'm glad it's a B-side, it's too repetitive and too long by being too repetitive

  • @dalecampbl7 I don't care that it's too long, but your right, it's too repetitive.

  • and BTW - Blue Spring is an awesome movie.

  • amazon has blue spring for 23 bucks

  • Great song, Anyone know where I could find the dvd for less than $52?

  • is this movie an earlier version of crows zero?

  • heaviest and darkest song ever. Great vid.

  • I doesn't get any better than this!!

  • will always be ma favorite song.

  • que BISHARRACO de TEMA!!!! BRUTAL!!!!!!!!!!!!! BILLY CORGAN ROCK ON 4EVER!!!!

  • De las mejores canciones de Smashing Pumpkins.

  • uhh the whole time i was watching this... i just was thinking... james iha....

  • This is a perfectly fitting video for this song. Great job!

  • they played a 30+ min version of this song to start their encore in dallas 96....it was unreal...half the venue had already left so everyone in the stands rushed the floor and they played for another hour and a half "now that all the mtv fucks have left..." -billy
