I cannot seem to find this jacket for retail in my country, could I try on other teknic jackets to find my size for this item ?

I have a 08 violator jacket that I've crashed 3 times now, and also mercury pants with 1 crash and the old style cowhyde pants with 2 crashes, and Teknic has never let me down, and will I will say if I can find a really really smoking deal new or find a good shape used 1 piece when the time comes I will continue to stay with Teknic.

i got the same jacket and it serves me pretty well at the moment, the perforations in this jacket really helps alot when its a sunny warm day. just had a little problem with mine cos its a bit too big for me i reckon, im 5'8" around 65 kilos thats about 130 pounds i think. i have it in size 44 and i think im a size 38, and its baggy. what is the down side of the gear when its that big?

The Teknic Mercury Jacket is like this one, no race hump. I have it and it looks really cool but it runs small, I have a 46 chest but I had to buy the 50

you mentioned you usually wear a 46... do you recommend ordering a size down? Does this jacket run a little bigger than true to size?

I work out and have a big chest, I'm 6 ft 230 pounds would I need a 46 or 48?

What's the function of the hump? and is it better with otrwithout?

The hump adds a race look, a bit of protection as well. Hard to say if it really makes the jacket better. It does offer a little more protection for the back which is never a bad thing.

No the hump is fixed and can not be removed

Who cares its about saftey specially if your on the highway. I have one and I use it to commute no one really say anything.
