  • hey could you please tell me the song @ 3:50

  • When was made the cassette player?

  • Approx. early 1980s.

  • I have a ghettoblaster, with an ipod dock that opens like a cassette

google the new Lasonic 931 Retro Boombox

  • Is the speed control click stopped, so you know when the unit is set to normal speed?

  • Yes. It also has numbers.

  • nice ampex tape

  • Another General Electric... nice!!!

  • Nice portable handheld cassette recorder made by GE before Thompson took over. I have the actual recorder like that which is a Sony TCM-S68V that I will do a response to this video later.

  • Dude, that's a nice recorder. 8)

  • Nice recorder but its DC bias

  • Some more older DC bias videos will be coming up!

  • sounds good CassetteMaster ill be watching for them

  • They're here!

  • Nice little old GE recorder!

  • Interesting how Mastercasset finds good pieces and low prices. Here in Brazil, we can not find anything decent at low price. People use their goods until the end. I guess,in America with more money, people frequently buy new goods and sell the old ones.

Mastercassete, my friend, I really enjoy watching your videos. Now a bit out of the topic. Which are the goods digital records to

record in classroom , meetings and conferences. Any suggestion?d I heard Olympus are the best.

  • Maybe Olympus or Sony.

  • that tape recorder's speaker sounds pretty good, as for the tape if you use the high end tapes youll get more treble but make sure your equipment supports metal oxide tapes, look for the dark brown to almost black tape, these are intended for recording from CDs

  • Thanks.

  • I have an olympus digital recorder, and its supposed to hook to the pc but the software is messed up and freezes the heck out of my pc, next one I buy will function as a removable drive, get one of these then all you do is plug it into your USB on your PC and the computer asks "what do you want to do with this device"

  • Very important tip. Thank you very much.

    Best regards from Brazil,

    mario.

  • Dear mariopica

    WHA!!!!!!!

Mario is a name of a Nintendo Character!

  • Chao772 you are correct, but people have names like Mario, Mario Lopez for example

  • you're welcome

  • Thank you very much coondogtheman1234 .

My is an ordinary name in Brazil and Portugal where Portuguese is spoken. I believe it is ordinary in Spaniard origin coutries also.

Anyway the Mario from Nitendo, looks Italian.

    Best regards,

    mario.

  • I do think the mario in Nintendo is italian, look him up on wikipedia

  • Nice recorder! Too bad it's DC bias. I think most GE recorders are DC bias.

  • uurrrrupp chlch... ah... LOL

  • Nice intro. The voice recording on that recorder is about the best I've ever heard with motor background noise. On the other hand the music recording was a bit sloppy when playing it through the device's speaker, and it sounded worse when you played it on the stereo system. With my Sonly clear voice cassette recorder, the voice recording sounds bumpy on the cassette at normal speed but trying to record music Not a chance. So overall, it seems like vintage sound equipment has the upper hand. :-)
