  • I don't believe Newt did anything unethical or immoral. He stated earlier this week that he plans to release all documents - for as many as can be released w/out violating a confidentiality agreement - to be released. I consider Newt to be the best of the candidates we have & he is the only one that has openly addressed his opposition to the UN plan: Agenda 21 which ties into much of what we see rolling out across America. It's a global Communist 'green' plan that urgently needs to be stopped.

  • @onegsoul Freddie Mac's CEO said that newt built bridges between the freddie mac and the house republicans to get their plans approved. And here you're in 2011 in such a mess. Not only what he did was unethical it was very damaging as well. At the same time, if it wasn't Newt, it would've been someone else. But there's no way a person with such a character should be the president.

  • @onegsoul Newt talks about running a business. It is a business based solely on his connections in govt. If he wasn't once speaker of the House he would have never seen a dime! And let's not forget:

January 22 1997: The House voted overwhelmingly yesterday to reprimand House Speaker Newt Gingrich and order him to pay an unprecedented $300,000 penalty, the first time in the House's 208-year history it has disciplined a speaker for ethical wrongdoing. The vote was 395 to 28. Not even close!

  • @onegsoul Do you really expect Gingrich to hold to his opposition to Agenda 21 after all the flip-flopping he's done on other issues?

  • Newt also supported a mandate making the purchase of health insurance compulsory, just like Romney and Obama!

  • At the CNBC debate Newt said Freddie Mac paid him $300,000. Now we know that was a lie. The real number was in excess of $1.6 million. That would make him the highest paid historian in history! If you think that money wasn't paid to gain political influence you are deluding yourself. It was paid for lobbying while calling it by another name.

  • Famous Newt quote: "it takes a big government to do big things!"

  • Newt is a big government progressive
