This would allow the appointed, elected government official an ethical idea of what the average American's life is all about. Many times people, but not all, who come from families "with it all," tend to be out of touch with echelon levels below their own, having no regards towards the needs of people, the homeless, sick and poor. I would never join an organization like "La Raza", because as long as we keep labeling and classifying ourselves as anything other than Americans, we'll have to deal with division and strife. I don't want an empathetic judge. I want a robot who applies the law. If you want empathy, work on the policy-makers to change the law.
