I discovered Anna Calvi only recently, and I'm fascinated by her creative work - especially that "gothic" element melting in her sensitivity of performance! I think her original art depicts her daring steps on a "music beam" - her balancing, with amazing ease, between a realm of "Sirens" and the inner "demons" of passion!

Has anyone seen the video for this? It's great! It's like she was the source of some supernatural power, unleashed through the song. Like a poltergeist, or a "devil," shaking the walls and conjuring snakes and bringing lightning down from the sky. I wouldn't doubt it happening in reality, with a voice like that :)
