  • I'm on the Bach side of the internet again...

  • @123isperfect6 Isn't it great?

Makes me feel all aristocratic n' shit.....

  • sooo powerfull music ...i'll cry !

  • No guitars, no drums, no singer? This is some weird metal.

  • people say bach helps with learning homework, but it's not mine favorite music

  • I am crying after this :,(

  • @ELFAN71 You should listen to "Stop Your Sobbing" by the Pretenders. sorry

  • I'm so glad that this is played at the Adagio Bach had in mind. Too many performers play this at what Bach would have considered Largo.

  • Why on earth is this recording transposed to F# minor? (Should be Gm)

  • @MartianGames Oh they are using baroque tuning where a=415. It supposedly gives a warmer tone to the instruments they have due to lower string tension :D

  • @excalibutterycake awesome! so glad to hear from someone actually knowing the answer - this totally confounded me. lol I actually trained at SF Conservatory of Music, and never learned that Baroque would use a different tuning .. I was seeking online a recording of this piece to play along with, but gave up trying to transpose everything down to F# hehe ;)

  • This satisfies me in a way I can't explain.

  • bach is the closest we are going to get to that increadible persona we have created in our heads which we all call GOD! it is all in our heads....let go!!!

  • @butifarra61 Oh god, keep the religious/anti religious discussion out of here and just enjoy the beautiful music. My goodness.

  • Listening to this feels like sneaking through the dark, gothic hallway of an ancient cathedral, or perhaps a gloomy, primeval forest.

    Sheer perfection.

  • hermoso! gracias x subirlo

  • Um.. there still are no thumbs down.. dum-dum

  • What's better than Bach AND harpsichord?

  • @sombernesssunlit

I'd usually answer "sex" but here, you know, sometimes, I have doubts..... *sighs in relief, inner peace-style

  • sounds threatening at the beginning. very nice concerto, as usual with Bach

  • @plagueofangels666

If you think this is threatening the first movement will scare you shitless.

  • I love listening to this stuff.

  • Bach's music style always makes me astounded...

  • From a time when music wasn't judged by looks or how much money can be made. This music was wrote for the composers liking with passion and if it got famous it was simply because it was brilliant. For this reason this music will still be followed in another hundred years and music like Justin Beiber will have dissapeared from history once people realise he is getting old and the record companies suck him dry.

  • @Two1987 I dont think Justin Bieber of other popmusic is about music. I think its about power, looks, sexuality and seduction. Well - its the way it is. Music is being used for that nowadays. I am glad Bach is not about power but about music. It makes me feel free and real to listen to it.

  • This needs to be on MTV

  • @ronaldmcdonald333 I know right! Classical music such as this should be honoured.

  • i dont relate emotion to music too much, my dominant synaesthesia is sight to sound. so this song has a lot of purple red and orange hue to me

  • usually, not always, when a piece of music is in minor, it conveys feelings of sadness and despair. to me, this conveys serenity.

  • Well no wonder it's so sad, it's written in D minor.

  • @efgeise

Toccata and fugue is not sad, and it's written in D minor.

  • @colourfulwithaU minor = sad in a slow tempo. minor = agressive in a fast tempo in my opinion and sometimes victorious in a way.

  • @TheLuaron

Yeah. I really like the feeling that the Imperial March (from Star Wars) expresses. Dominant aggression, or something like that.

  • @colourfulwithaU You ever hear "Mars The Bringer of War" by Holst?

  • @RedBalls101, the planet suite is a work of art without a doubt.. interesting fact though, Holst composed Mars just before the outbreak of WW1, but had to wait until 1918 before he could hear it performed by a full orchestra.. Michaelmas Day 1918.

  • @colourfulwithaU You ever hear "Mars the Bringer of War" by Holst?

  • @RedBalls101

Nope. But I'm sure it's sexy.

  • i wish u were alive!!

    i wouldve married u <3 <3

  • There is just incredible sadness and grief in this music of Bach and at the same time it is so beautiful.

  • @gonrolgonrol That's catharsis for you. :)

  • very innovative piece for that times

  • i just orgasmed

  • @LarxeneSP lol.... stop saying something stupid

  • amazing

  • no words. just pure love

  • @AxelleVIII :))

  • sublime
