  • @Sidney38SNJ You'd like The Wire.

  • @Sidney38SNJ Nixon? That must have been way back...you are saying he made the drug cartels?

  • @Sidney38SNJ if they legalized drugs then there would be more money to fund the insurgency.

  • Cartels get virtually ALL of there profit because of the War on Drugs. It forces criminals to sell drugs, when it could be controlled, regulated, and safer sold by the market. Also it would make it more difficult for kids to get a hold of. Lemme tell you, I'm only 19 and I can find illegal drugs a hell of a lot easier than I can get a hold of alcohol. If drugs were legal, it would help stop underage drug use and leave the decision of using drugs to when people are older and more responsible.

  • wow they want the afghanistan people to change their traditional growing of the poppy fields? something more legitimate product? FUCK YOU thats giving their family food its easy for you to say cause you dont live in a shit hole like them!

nonthing but a bunch of imperialist cocksuckers dont you think by spreading freedom and democracy the people that lives their should have a say in this yeah thats what i thought fucking jagoffs!

  • this fucking cunt should be shot point blank in her delusional ass head

  • Michele Leonhart is a cunt.

  • Congress is about to finalize the nomination of Michele Leonhart to the head of the DEA, before she was just a stand in. This woman is insane. She actually said the violence and deaths around the Mexican border is a signpost to success. Yes people, the more violence around the border, the better, according to Leonhart. I am beginning to become truly scared of the American federal government.

  • they walking around there doing nothing with all those fields, they said poor farmers gonna be without work,(oh! so sad) "lamest excuse ever". but aperantly they will arrest some homless tweeker and spend 30 000 $ a year for keepin him in jail for some minor possession , and spend billions on drug war all together, but they are not going to do anything with those thousands of acres of fields of popy. its was always there and looks like its gonna be there, because, too much money involved.

  • The head of the DEAs last name is Leonhart. Reminds me of a Final Fantasy character.

  • Its funny that the USA trys to control the drug trade in other countrys, when they cant even control in their own! The war on drugs was lost before it even started. Stop spitting that 1950's propaganda bullshit, nobody is buying it anymore and their only making this country look like a close minded, fascist nation, full of religious freaks! Drugs have been used long before man and they'll continue to be used long after man is gone. I think I made my point!

  • Michele Leonhart and the DEA can kiss my ass!!! Fucking Cunts! Thumbs up if you support Legalizing Marijuana!

  • "3 DEA agents have been killed in action and another was wounded."

    good riddance

  • michele is a cunt ! Legalize marijuana bitch, don't fight it.

  • "There are a number of crops that pay more than poppy does at the farm gate" I wonder there is really any truth to that at all. Because to me at least, they wouldn't be growing it if that was true in my mind.

  • They will never control or conquer Afghanistan unless they control the poppy fields and the entire drug trade then and only then is there a possibility of peace otherwise the USA is just wasting their time in Afghanistan, Heroin is the primary source of funding for the tali-ban and extremist Muslims.

  • @spindlegrinder the Taliban are a muslim group. Correct. Extremist? who are you or I to class someone as extremist without a full understanding of their belief system? Anyway let's just use the term "extremist" and assume it means they run their lives and their country by their religious laws... It would then be a contradiction of their "extremist" beliefs for their main source of funding to be from a drug such as heroin which is forbidden in Islam.

  • @spindlegrinder My intention isn't to argue or start any trouble so forgive me if I said anything to offend you. I'm just trying to explain the flaws in this theory that people have about Muslims and Islam being the source of all the world's evil.

  • @Sidney38SNJ ........ the LAWS limit the PERCENTAGE of the CRIMES. legalizing them will UNLIMIT THE PERCENTAGE.... understand? under laws=23% now, legalized = 1xxxxxx% see?

  • @Sidney38SNJ I agree.....There are already people drugged by legal Prescription drugs and Most are Opiates...It cost too much money for these endless "wars" our country thinks we can win...

  • Why doesn't YouTube show the thumbs-up/thumbs-down tally anymore? Especially the thumbs-down. The comments by ChEnGsTaRz on this video are ignorant and just plain incorrect, yet my thumbs-down vote never registers. And many times the thumbs-up vote has no effect either. This is true of all the new YouTube postings. What gives? The new system is irritating and lame.

  • @Sidney38SNJ are you slow? are you mentally disabled? or are you just plain stupid? legalize drugs... what kind of messed up .... are you? dont you know what drugs are used for? not just getting high, or medicin, but sex trafficking. would you like to be kidnapped, DRUGGED with LEGALIZED DRUGS, then RAPED? this is the cause of DRUGS. now shut up you dumb .... .

  • if fox is trying to get Americans to support this war. it ain't working.

  • Didn't see anyone cutting down or burning those poppies. Trace the money, the banks, the business, the owners. Use some GMO pollen to produce an inert opium. Or just give it away for free and take away the profit.

  • @tenagliac The problem would be logistics... Creating debased poppy or opium pollen is one thing, but getting it in the field unnoticed, is quite another. It would all have to be done in secret, the growers would have to wonder "why is my yield so low this year?".... So such a plan would, of necessity, be secret.

  • The United States government has no right to impose their views of what is "crime" in a foreign nation. If the people of Afghanistan wish to stop the manufacture of opium, that is their right. It is not ours.

  • @Smackerlacker1 its not that we are trying to say what crime is in their country, its that their views hurt our country. they grow opium, it gets sold, the buyers smuggles into the US, it gets used for multiple nasty ugly dirty things. you dont want to know. it will get turned into heroin and some other strong drugs. you need to understand why its banned world wide. research more on this if you will.

  • What a crock... since the americanos arrive...production rises, and the hunt for Taliban never succeeds......and 35% of american people say that want troops to return.

  • Abolish the DEA. Put them in real jobs, like fighting bankers and corporations ripping people off.

  • Well a good thing they at least are smoking outside the building.

  • alright, she looked competent... But this is a great use of our tax dollars as opposed to funding our schools!

Close the borders and solve the problem.

  • SHUT THE FUCK UP OLIVER NORTH!

    You INVENTED narco-terrorism

  • @Sidney38SNJ Totally agree, except you can legislate morality. We do it all the time.

  • Was that THE Oliver North?

  • @dangerouslytalented

Yeppers, buddy. Didn't Ollie have something to do with the marketing of opium at one time? Something about selling drugs for money in order to fund a war in central america? He's a genuINE American hero, that boy is. It's kinda like-- a mockery of all the lives they've ruined in the US by making drugs illegal. It's only illegal, when it isn't INCONVENIENT.

  • I watched this video again and now I'm really confused. We're killing people for smoking opium? They did something violent, right? They're doing something that's actually wrong, not just bringing up plants?

  • they will let monsanto go in there and force them to grow GMO crops, how much ya wanna bet? just like in iraq

  • Yeah and just a couple days ago FOX ran a segment on how we should like the recession because it helps small businesses.

  • the heart of opium country being kept safe by the US military.. more opium now than before.. anything to the contrary is all BS..

  • In just a couple of weeks twinkle face you'll be able to ship this shit back home and make a ton of money off of it just like you used to do with the gun deal Ollie shit for brains south...

  • It's all about US control. There are more Poppy fields in France than in Afgahnistan.

  • I'm sure Monsanto would be more than willing to give them 'proper' seeds. *rolls eyes*

  • The US Goverment, has NO WRIGHT to stop them from growing POT, its not there country, even know they think it is!

  • sounds like big business has their fingers all up in this already, fucking terrific.

  • Other crops?

To sell them where, to what price?

  • how many years in Colombian trying the same thing?

  • @MonyMG1959 Trying what? US are in Afghanistan to secure the fields so heroin wont disappear from the market. Profits profits profits....

  • @armindee I can stop thinking of the movie Dune..."Those that own the spice control the universe" I think it goes that way.

  • @MonyMG1959 Sorry never heard that one. But hey I'm against every war US is waging. Spec since this video showed up: /watch?v=xH9xSHcFreY

  • @MonyMG1959 Dune works here on a many, many, many number of levels lol..

  • @ShaktipatSeer 'The spice must flow.'

  • @th3dig1tal0n3 Well I think most ppl who think by them self know this...

  • Comment removed

  • @th3dig1tal0n3 Do you have some sort of a problem? I don't give a shit about that. Tell that to someone that doesn't know it...

  • ironic it's Oliver North who does a piece on drugs. The man who may have been greatly responsible for the crack epidemic in America. The contras, funded and controlled by North and reagan (Bush Sr. really) supplied cocaine to the street gangs in L.A., who turned it into crack and expanded their enterprises countrywide. Ollie's own journals admit this. Media wouldnt touch it. The man is a disgrace to the uniform he used to shamelessly wear

  • they are totally bankrupting our country on a war on drugs? 90% of those people were smoking opium and with all the restrictive trade agreements they are not going to grow anything more profitable as soon as we are forced to pull out guess what more opiumas long as it is illegal and a market for it just like mexico and south america we have done great keeping the drugs out of there haven't we?

  • Oliver North is one of the biggest traitors & criminals in American history. Colonel North was the one most responsible for carrying out orders of the secret shadow government which created Iran/Contra during the Reagan administration.

    Typical FOX News.

  • "Republicans originally thought that Fox worked for us, and now we are discovering we work for Fox."

-- David Frum, former Bush speechwriter & American Enterprise Institute Fellow

  • Legalize it. Clean Opium is not more dangerous then Whisky for the human body.

You can work like normal as an opium/heroin addicted - what makes them sick is the scretching with shit to make more profits.

  • What a truly world-class twat Oliver North is.

  • Is this the guy involved in shady deals with Iran, and now in partnership in an obscure charity drive with Hannity?

And yes, we can replace the crops with cotton, which will be blocked later on by protectionist rules and prohibitive import quotas at the US border!!!!

    Way to go FOX!!!

  • Let every one grow the poppies, Instantly puts them out of buissness

  • Jarhead like Ollie North loves all war all the time. It creates fatherless sons and daughters of dead war veterans so he can profiteer off them with his Freedom Alliance scam.

  • Time for the Obama to re-think this Afghan war.

  • Is this War in Afghanistan turning into a War on Drugs scenario? >_>

Because if it is, this war will continue like it has continued in Columbia.

  • why are we still in afghanistan and iraq? these occupations have lasted longer than the duration of world war two. it makes no sense to rational people!

  • @tommyneumann Yea, and now its turning into a war on drugs. Who would of thought of that when they first arrived in those countries.

  • @tommyneumann

Because a lot of people would loose face and more important they would loose a lot of money.

  • We need to end war... end the war on terror, end the war on drugs. They are both flawed policies that only make things worse.

  • @Peacenik then certain people won't make money. how dare you oppose corporate welfare.

  • Narco-Insurgency, not NACRO
