  • i think that planet is beautiful. i like the nature on that planet.

  • Some of my favorite videos on YouTube are the ones you make. Are you interested in the study of the life.

  • @PalaeoJoe Yes I am. I think evolution and history of life fascinating!!

    and many thanks!!!!

  • Beautifully AWESOME! My video begins with actual footage of a real U.F.O. Do NOT fear the Glirkazoids they are friendly and want to eat, er, I meant, MEET mankind! They're harmless as kittens and told me their fondest wish is to "serve mankind!" Do not be afraid of them! Trust them!

  • I watched this movie when i was 9. Great thing!

  • Just an evolved headcrab 1:55

  • this is an awesome video :D

the only thing i would have liked was a size gauge, to show how big they were compared to humans or the droids, but that aside, it is still a great vid

  • Why did i expect to see a xenomorph

  • That is ssooo sick omg that IS AMAZING if it was real that would be sick too

  • todo mentira

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! PROUD TO BE IRISH!

  • We only can visualising it

  • Human unable build that, because every thing will price sky-high

  • Farscape anyone!

  • 3:51 eu nao acredito um collosus!!!

  • spore

  • I love how this is from Discovery Channel and you give no credit to it

  • @Skeith143 read the description

  • The Corrs! Nice (Y)

  • I want a Groveback! Walking grass patch!

  • It was a good show but...it looks so earth-like. Are wings the only way to fly? Are feet the only way to move around? Is carnivorism and herbivorism the only ways to feed? They did some good feeding system with the Groveback and the Emperor Sea Strider, but the rest it's too Earth II. Btw, I do remember a smart octopus thing in this show.

  • @KantoIkari The problem is not possibility, but what is easier to develop, and easier to find.

  • @lonanarcheya it's easier to find in our carbon-based life, but who says that they can't develop a lifestyle based on silicium, hydrogen or iron? (Still, I give them a lot of credit for the ideas...)

  • I remember seeing this on the Discovery channel a long time ago

  • This is awesome, why aren't you in Hollywood doing this professionally?

  • Someone pls kill that little yellow Jar-Jar creature... -.-"

  • 101 peolple are alien killers

  • oh and i subscribed

  • awesome and are aliens real?

  • i like huge aliens the mountain ones

  • How much time does it take

  • Trippy.

  • Exposition of wayne barlowe

  • I wish I could know everthing in the entire universe

  • Col it is funny

  • Awesome video but fucking shit music

  • They are on an alien earth

  • Is this some kind of japanese shit?

  • That would be amazing if it was real. (:

  • i love this beautiful video :')

  • @OutRoll :-)

  • those sea walking things looked ridiculous. That's the best alien you could think of?

  • @4RealNumbersRreal I didn´t think. Please see description.

  • @4RealNumbersRreal He's not the one who made it up.

  • @4RealNumbersRreal They look pretty alien who knows what life from other worlds is like.

  • @4RealNumbersRreal he didnt make these. they are from a movie called aline planet by discovery channel, and the movie is based off a book from the early 1900's.

  • @4RealNumbersRreal dude that alien was made using real science. in fact expecting aliens to look "normal" is whats ridiculous after all what do you think alien means, in the extraterrestrial sense.

  • i think we should increase nasas budget by 10 fold theres shit out there we need to find

  • thats where advanced UAVs come from

  • Frankly, I preferred the book which came long before the TV event. Barlowe is a freaking genius for his artwork and creature designs. And the TV stuff didn't do it near enough justice.

  • How come at 3:11 i could hear a growl from the groveback?

  • Wonderfull!!!!

  • @Hermaphroditos900 thanks!

  • i realy like the music what s the name of it and really nice animations

  • i think whats funny is most people think aliens are strange in figure but possibly they could look like you and me

  • i thing you should play the song my shooter

  • POKEMON?!

  • Anybody else read the book this is based on? It's called Expedition by Wayne Barlowe. The man's mind is so incredibly brilliant to come up with a completely believable planetary ecosystem. Highly recommended.

  • Like the video, like the music. Nice !!

  • @kingofuganda thanks!

  • Life is about fantasy! Love, brotherhood, peace. What is fascinating is fascination of fantasy.

  • Whatever that bat thing is with the spikes is, That's my favorite, Awesome vid man

  • lemaro197, i thank you with my honor of my irish history. without your outstanding video, i would have never found this song. thank you. you are my best friend. :)

  • @doubleagentman909 Thanks! :-) i love irish music! I´m glad u liked the video!

    take care,

  • Thanks for making this stupendous video.

  • this is awesome, make a movie or film with this. Avatar 3? lol

  • @sunqi865; These are too good for something like Avatar. Needs its own series.

  • scene from film from "Discovery planet" or "Animal Planet" ...

  • Colossal Creatures-Amazing Animation.

  • did they actually send probes to the planet?

  • Creatures-Colossal.

    Imagination-Incredible.

    Absoultely Amazing Animation.

  • hey bro ive seen this but i think i missed the part when they discovered whats destroyng that robots... anyone can help me? the story is intresting...

  • That's even stranger than the underwater sea creatures of earth

  • @LostBoyRebel well, its a different planet... i would think so

  • is that pandora??

  • はじめのCMがウザ過ぎ

  • is it just me,or does the probe look like a combine advisor?0-0

  • @MeaganMaeKayee nah its just imagining what an alien world might look like, showing how diverse and different it would be, but someday something as cool as this will probable be shown to exist.

  • Long live Wayne Douglas Barlowe!

  • @Scoinsoffaterocks they should do Barlow's Dante inferno in 3d too :D

  • Epic video an alien ideas

  • @FishDontBlinq

No, yeah, like it was SOOO real. Of course it was fake, you idiot! And I happened to like it, so if you don't mind, keep your negative opinions to yourself.

  • Fake and Gay

  • Cool 37th generation Pokemon

  • The Groveback's are so amazing! The music sounds like a The Corrs.

  • @GSanSensation

That would be because it is The Corrs.

  • How did you do the animation in your film? You are an expert cinematic computer animator, one of the best I've ever seen.

    Well done bro!!

  • @junkification Wish I was... I just put scenes from "Alien Planet"!

    thanks for watching!

  • @lemaro1977

    what song is this?

  • @lemaro1977 Alien Planet... is that a movie of some kind?

  • @andvas1994 something like a documentary... but lemaro has done excellent job combining some of the scenes from it with some nice music!;)

  • Dude this is awesome what program was used in this

  • i love this

  • This was such a cool show, nice to see Wayne Douglas Barrlow's creative work finally get some good exposure. Now, if only he could do something more with that Thype story he working on in the late 1970s......

  • Nice.

  • You my friend, have gotten yourself a TF2 dub in Sony Vegas.

  • i remeber this , i saw this when i was 7

  • Our planet may have recycled and ended and begun several times over. It could well be that the technolgy we have today once existed before and all life was wiped out several times over and the planet recycled itself several times over and we wouldn't even be able to tell.

  • @210482fmj we know there were several mass extinctions in the past

  • @Nixom1334 there could of been many unknown also.

  • It's beuty is beond immagination. To be able to find complex life that match or top our own. I hope i will live to see such a world, a world that knows no war, no fammin.

Such a planet i would call. Hope.

  • @TheIcelandicPatriot I actually hope we don't find it, knowing humans that planet would be burned, strip-mined, and religiously converted in a week

  • @Nixom1334 Aye thats true. Perhaps there will life advanced aliens that wont take our bull shit.

Someone to put oss in line but wont kill oss. We humans need to be reminded that we are no gods and we don't own this planet.

  • hey dude when you reach million views you know youtube would start paying you!

  • @lifeform106 they already asked for that (in two other videos). But I declined. First for ethic reasons, all the material is not mine; second i´m afraid that they put down my channel for violation of terms of use, if a try that!

    see ya!

  • @lifeform106 they already asked for that (in two other videos). But I declined. First for ethic reasons, all the material is not mine; second i´m afraid that they put down my channel for violation of terms of use, if a try that!

    see ya!

  • @lemaro1977 but i thought this was your most viewed video

  • @lifeform106 It was... Now it is the second most viwed!

  • yay spore planet

  • realistically the Grove Back would be way to unbalanced to be bipedal. the head is to massive

  • @Nixom1334 I guess you don't know the groveback has a "third leg", that is, some stubby thing sticking out like a tail

  • @jawszilla but it's giving support in the back not the front where it needs it with that huge elongated head

  • @Nixom1334 I suppose so

  • @Nixom1334 And if it was lightweight? or even part hollow?

  • @lemaro1977 assuming it's head was hollow and not it's body it's possible

  • @lemaro1977 kinda like Brontosaurus.. You know the giant dinosaurs. They had air pockets in there bones but inside it was shaped like a honeycomb if i remember right Very strong but light as well. People sometimes comment and dont think things through.

  • @troubledseed Also, In the documentary they said that the planet(Darwin IV) had a lower gravity. So giant creatures like that wouldn't be so impossible as they would be on planet Earth. :D

  • @Nixom1334 It is not necessarily entirely bipedal though, it does have that long ridge on the back "tail area" if you will. This allows it to have a sturdy back support.

  • @Nixom1334 the gravity might be so light it may not even matter

  • lool this is to sick

  • 0:28 aunyt dot halo refrence fyi

  • hey have you found any ohter shows like alien planet or extraterrestrial?

  • Its all from a book by Wayne Douglas Barlowe which was a lot better than the animation, that was produced from it, he did another one about hell and one called Barlowes guide to extraterrestrials, which provides illustrations for alien species from science fiction books of the 60's-70's...

  • i simply forgot i watch in the discovery channel and it was awsome

  • oh my i have a question is that true i mean really true ??????

  • @MsMaria2233 if you mean real, then no.

  • Did you do all these animations? Amazing, just amazing.

  • @lolomauri

    ...what.

  • @lolomauri no, the animation is from discovery channel :) i just edited

  • love it

  • mmm i thought i saw it on national geographics and always wanted to see it again! no wonder i didn't see it anymore cuz it is on discovery! thanx for the info dude! :D

  • saçma !

  • This is a lesson to the designers of future star robotic explorers... when encountering a possibly intelligent specie, in order to be endeared and respected by them... use the 'ANAL PROBE' technique of communication, it works for us!, so... why not?

  • Too bad this movie had no relation to the book, still cool to see these things on T.V. though.

  • that thing at 3:28 is scary...

  • i just jizzed everywhere!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Amazing.Just amazing.

  • @MaxterandKiwiKing thanks!

  • @lemaro1977 this is just what Avatar should have been

  • If that super elephant sized animal that dwarfs a brontasaurus doesn't scare you, than the skyscraper tall animals that live in the ameobic see will.

I am a bit skepitical that such huge life forms could exist. Or that flying creatures could adapt a jet propulsion like flying ability. Also the probes are flying a little close for comfort.

We should wait to send this mission when we have nanotechnology that produce a new probe in seconds.

  • This continues to be one of my most favorite videos in all of YouTube.

    Well done.

  • @mgol2667 many thanks!!!

  • dude i read the description and saw you giving a link to wiki. Do you know wiki lies and anyone can change it and post lies!

  • this is the coolest shit ive ever seen shiny

  • was that a zergling?

  • sheer beauty. how did you know

  • And after all this was screened to earth, NASA put it right in it's place in the TOP SECRET files. (:

  • i love the music(;

  • AMAZING!I LOVE YOUR WORK!

  • here's another FREAKIN AMAZING 3D animation - watch?v=8nGIWVOGQMw

  • What's the name of the song?

  • @planetabyss the silver strand by the corrs.

  • @DocHamer thankss! :)

  • This was a pretty cool little show. I loved Wayne Barlowe's bizarre aliens here.

Which actually made me REALLY disappointed with the mundane creatures in Avatar he made. He could do so much better.

Although the (mary-sueish) Na'vi with their world of warcraft elves with kittynoses look where even worse. (And didn't fit in at all with the other lifeforms.)

(And it's not like Pocahontas in Space was a particularly impressive story either.)

Bit Darwin IV aliens where cool.

  • in the full version these robots are equipped with mini flying disks

launch is 2014.. those flying disk are equipped with camera's and can be remote controlled by the robots..

but WTF thats ufo tech.. they now actually admit they have ufo's?! 0--o

and everyone seeing ufo's were declared crazy? hmm.. not nice..

  • woonderfol

  • You know some of you here say that it will never be possible to reach this type of technology. Many people believed that the earth was flat not long ago Many people believed we would never fly only a century ago. Many people believed we would never reach to a star yet alone to our moon. Something i learned is that science has no limits.

  • this is worth for sore eyes (i think its just a expression)

  • i better go find missingno and get infine master balls

  • The probes themselves look alien.

Awesome video, makes me want to go see the full show.

  • @lemaro1977 HEY THIS VIDEO IS NOT MADE BY HIM ITS A DISCOVERY DOCUMENTARY FILM.... HE JUST PUT A MUSIC IN THERE AND THAT'S IT, HE DOESN'T DESERVE ANY REGARDS.

  • @94vujke he MENTIONS that it was made by discovery cha
