I'm an artist myself, and I'd be lying if I said I don't do it for praise. But that's just part of why I do it. I simply do it to share my vision to an audience, and there feedback, wether it's bad or good, is what gives me fuel for the next picture. But before all that, I love art, it is my life.

Come one man, I'm glad you are established and don't need the praise comments. But you don't share your work for no reason. You speed the video to the point where none can see or learn what you're doing. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with what or how you express yourself as an artist. Ok yes he/she is using a wacom cintiq tablet (or one like it) to do this and sure it makes it a bit easier than using a mouse but dont take their skill for granted. This person has a massive amount talent and obviously has a background in analog painting. Just because you have a tablet does not mean you can magically digipaint like this so quit giving them $h!t. I have huge respect for your work "cgsbgs". Keep up the amazing work and post more like this.

how do you change the color of the entire gray layer? i've tried this painting method twice, and it's a pain, since i paint over the grey with a new layer on multiply, and cleaning up the edges is a pain.

and no, i'm nowhere near your level, so any other tips would be awesome...but if not that's perfectly fine. i loved watchnig this being drawn. the highlights/eyelashes/hair are all things i needa work a lot on. D:

I'm a digital artist myself, maybe not quite this lady's level, but I always prefered Paint Tool Sai over Photoshop for it's painting capababilities and - a fraction of the price! PS sucks up a lot of CPU as well.

I'm just so confused! I see these techniques on each artists of realistic paintings - how do you make the shadows of her skin flow so well?
