aww i got 3, mother kia father shadow and there puppy (weirdly they only had one,) sunny ^_^ kia and shadow are very affectionate kia likes to laze about on the sofa for attention, shadow likes to play outside and hes pretty much always trying to get us to walk him while sunny is playng like mad, we dont let sunny go upstairs we keep him downstairs.

My family were originally supposed to get a golden. A friend who's had goldens for years and swears by them pointed out that they do shed like crazy - and since my dad and sis have allergies that was a problem.

We ultimately got a Shih-Poo; she's a sweetheart and I wouldn't trade her in for a dozen goldens! Still doesn't mean I don't love a cute golden puppy when I see one - and this is twice as cute!

I've had both breeds over the years, and this is all I will say about how the 2 are different: Leave front door open. If the dog bolts down the street and you have to catch up with it in your car...its most likely a lab. xD They're a lot of fun but a little out of control some times if they don't get trained early on.
