  • Hey Jonathan, I saw you on affiliate challenge too!

    How's PPV still doing for you these days? Still working? And do you have any experience with MediaTraffic? I've launched 6 PPV campaigns now on MT and made only two leads total and can't tell if it's the technique that's dead, PPV itself, or if MT's traffic quality is just horrible.

    Ahhhh mediatraffic. *sigh* Once upon a time, they were great. Now I can't even get them to put a campaign live, and they don't answer their phone. My opinion? MT is dead & gone. Try TrafficVance if you can get in, or adonnetwork(a lot easier to get into and a lower initial deposit too, but not the most intuitive system in the world). I'm kinda focusing on other things primarily ( see my blog ) but am still a big PPV fan!

  • @ToolTrainer Cool. Thanks for the response. Good to know I'm not the only one. I also notice that some targets on MT that should be really good, like dead on targeting for my offer and high traffic, get no hits even though I'm #1 bidder. I'm always suspicious they're running their own offers and hoarding traffic on good trgts. sigh. who knows. I'm keeping at it though. I don't think I can get into TV yet, so I'll probably try LeadImpact, DirectCPV or Adon as you suggested. Thx!

  • @qqqqeqqqq I really can't recommend one in specific, they all have their pros/cons. I would say try TrafficVance if you can get in, Adonnetwork, DirectCPV (lousy system but easy to get into) and possibly Linksador as well. Oh there's also LeadImpact (formerly Zango) but I haven't used them personally so can't speak from experience.

    Isn't PPV "Adware" which would make it unethical advertising? Not sure, a friend just told me this. I've advertised with DirectCPV. Never Questioned it before though.

  • @madzane94 *SOME* PPV is adware, a lot isn't. And how is advertising-supported software unethical? Advertising is the reason Youtube, Google, Yahoo, and just about every other website in existence, is "free".

    Don't confuse true opt-in adware, with spyware/malware. True sometimes the line between them can get a bit thin, but there *is* a line. DirectCPV gets their traffic both from adware, and buying it from other traffic providers.

    I was about to use the LP you sent us in an email.

    I am lazy I love direect linking and PPV is the way to go.

    I also buy media for some of my traffic and all you need are banners lol.
