This is what happens when you give power to charter schools. They take advantage of students and teachers. We need these type of protests in our public schools. With all due respect to white males out there--whenever a white man in a business suit comes to you with lip service about school choice, he is looking out for his own bottom line, not your interests. Don't be naive. Green Dot isn't doing this for free.
@c35ar323 sort of, people were honking in support, we had a journalist follow us into the World Trade Center (the one in LA, not the one that got blown up in NY) and people started hogging the food after the meeting was over (damn stubborn bastards didnt even take the bus that the CEO of GreenDot offered us as a ride back to school) and we had to walk like 5 miles, but we had lots of fun with the chants and carrying heavy ass backpacks over there (No really, it was a a very fun walk)
Most went to APB, so yeah.
