  • Oh lalahh, this video has reminded me of old , old days in Burundi. It is fun to hear the kirundi language variations. One country, one language!

  • @bknanusi one country, one language, different people! wish we saw ourselves as one people!

  • @jeannshi - You see our people were naive, the learned and manipulative politician messed up every thing . However, I think you would utterly agree with me on this- that no matter what happened to our country still we are all Burundians, and we will either rise or fall as Burundians; and we must understand this truth! Here in New York City , we see our people as our one people, at least those i have met.

  • @bknanusi I agree with you. Rising and falling is a collective experience and affect everyone just like Kind said, injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere, however, as much as there are some of us who see ourselves as burundians despite our differences, there are still a lot who sees in us a devided lot whose political agenda is a zero sum game. You live in the most expensive part of the world!

  • @jeannshi The zero some game theory, in which 'your success comes to the expense of my success' is long wrong held theory that politicians, the cranks and demagogues have used for centuries to manipulate their people and our country got its own share. Keep up the spirit , we are all Burundians, we must stick together if we are to survive in this competitive world. I think us who are young might be able to turn the page of a dark history and write a new one filled with hope. YES WE CAN!

  • @bknanusi keep it real bro. time to tell the world and our fellow burundians that we need each other and africa needs to wake up and realize that the night has been long and it's time to roll our sleeves and move one step at a time as we build stronger countries and a proud people. Yes we can

  • They Speak KIRUNDI is Burundian language
