Clonezila Live CD works perfect with cloning disks. Whats the best for cloneZilla is that it clones hardrives bit by bit -so if u have 500GB HardDrive and system has been taking only 15GB of 500GB, so Clonzilla will take only 15GB of space and the end will archive it for 40% to 50%.
@ivarsruzha I think most imaging programs (I think anyway) will do just that in terms of what data it captures. Only reason I can think of you might bother to capture 485 GB of "free" space is to recover it later to another hard drive and then use data recovery software. This is because of the potential scenario of your hard drive tanking and corrupting a section of the Master File Table (MFT) which could result in "lost"/"deleted" files.
Hi there, thanks so much for the great video. I would really like to know what imaging software you use. Also would it be possible or would you recommend to save the image to a hidden partition on the computer, so if failure just press some key like F6 or so when booting up, and it goes to that hidden partition and restores your computer. Cheers

I suppose capturing the system to a wim file is the same way as for Win7 with ImageX ??
This tutorial does not help if you dont show how to actually capture the system to a file ;o)

I don't believe this video is either pre or remake of Part 1. It didn't provide Part 2 of SysPrep. That would be nice.
