  • That's a tight rhythem, and fuck yeah green controls. Is that seimitsu stuff in there? If so I use the exact same (except inside an SE).

  • damn i soo fuckin want ur joystick sell me that shit i mean u dont use segadreamcast haha

  • check ebay for a new one :)

  • hhaha dis vid helped me i actually like this method better than the slide but i switch on and off haah

  • glad it helped

  • y is it called ROM?

  • It was named after a Japanese player named 'Rom' who discovered the infinite way back in 2001.

  • so he's like the equivalent 2 the guy that discovered wavedashing in melee.

  • I thought the ROM was only his variation of the infinite. I've seen 3 different Magneto infinites. Not sure if he made all of them.

  • TranceCore3 - The Rom is the Infinite that has MANY variations and was discovered and named by the Japanese player named 'Rom'. Magneto has many other Infinites, but the Rom Infinite has more variations than any Infinite in the game. There are at least 50 variations of the Rom, and probably more. I am working on a video to show all Rom variations. Magneto also has the Slide Infinite, Rainbow Infinite, Trijump Infinite, Flight Mode Infinite.

  • Thank you for educating me. xD. Does this infinite work in X-men vs Street fighter and MSH too?

  • TranceCore3 - You are welcome. I am a student and a teacher of the Rom Infinite. Even though I know nearly everything about the Rom Infinite, there is so much depth and complexity to it, that there is always something new to learn. The Rom Infinite is possible in XSF, but not in MSH. Magneto does not have a true airdash (unless in flight mode) in MSH, and airdash is essential to Rom. The Rom was reverse engineered into XSF from when it was discovered in 2001 in MvC2.

  • TranceCore3 - The Rom is possible in X-Men:Children of the Atom too. It looks a lot different (since the physics of the combo engine are far different than any other Marvel fighting game), yet it is still the Rom Infinite.

  • aye man wut is ur button set up?

    is it default or wut?

  • yup default layout

  • bleh, i used to do claw and slide, but after about a year of inactiviity i lost the majority of my skills ]:

  • It is fuckin hard to do it on a dreamcast controller.

  • If its so hard why use it? Get a arcade stick and see how much better it will do

  • i want a stick like that

  • Ebay is your best bet.

  • @SELGX thats the dreamcast ex

  • Just because you think it's the "claw method" doesn't mean it is. Before you inferred that the difference between your "slide method" and "claw method" was your thumb hitting the lk instead of your sliding finger.

That isn't what defines claw and slide. Stop spreading misinformation around, it's possibly the #1 that stops beginners from getting better, frustrates them and makes them quit.

Not only that, you are clearly bending your fingers and sliding them past the buttons. Sloppy.

  • And before you start making this personal, this isn't personal.

It's great that you're taking the time to try and help the community, but if something is wrong you have to change it.

  • Just cause you suck too much to have fun, it doesn't mean everyone else does.

  • When you go to do the air dashes you press the two punch buttons using a sliding motion with your fingers.

The "claw method" has no sliding involved at any point in time. You rest your fingers on the buttons and simply push. So your hand always looks like a "claw".

If anything this is a kinda butchered version of slide and claw.

  • Obviously you never read what I posted earlier. I can see where you think my finger is sliding but it's actually twitching so it looks like its sliding. There is no actual slide.

  • This is not the "claw" method it is the "slide" method.

  • Look at my thumb, it stays on the lk. My index finger twitches when I do the rom and I don't know why. I also made another video on the slide method, you can see the big difference. Pay closer attention next time.

  • omg i have that same joy stick maybe ill learn how to do it thnx

  • you should, its helpful.

  • but im still having trouble air dashing =(

  • what is your problem? if your getting the little beam, let the stick back into neutral before you air dash down then just roll your fingers and the tri jumps should come out faster. :)

  • i see ok thnx im going to go try it =)

  • cool
