@vincetheworldly537 Enormous quantities of CO2 IN the form of bicarbonate ion (HCO) from the tisuues to the lungS, where it is reconverted to CO2 and expelled into the atmosphere as a body waste product.
Broadly, causes of anemia may be classified as impaired red blood cell (RBC) production, increased RBC destruction (hemolytic anemias), blood loss and fluid overload (hypervolemia). Several of these may interplay to eventually cause anemia. Indeed, the most common cause of anemia is blood loss, but this usually doesn't cause any lasting symptoms unless a relatively impaired RBC production develops, in turn most commonly by iron deficiency
I just ws informed today by my doctor VIA my phone, that i have severe anemia, and i could have a heart attack! i'm only 15! i'm taking iron pills 4 times a day...does anyone know how long anemia lasts?
dont be silly you are taking way too much iron consumption. Anemia is reverseable condition i have had it when i was 16 i m 25 now and i made it. You should try natural organic eating habit because it has zero side effects.I say this because causes of heart attach caused by anemia is due to one stupid side effect so when u avoid medical crap and eat natural vegetables and fruits with high volume of iron u reduce death by 75%. Believe me! Go look for fruits and dry nuts with high volume of iron.
Respond to this video... iron deficiency anemia is treated by oral iron supplementation with ferrous sulfate, ferrous fumarate, or ferrous gluconate.
@Heathaholic What's your diet like, better to get nutrient from real food as opposed to pills. Try organ meats, they are a great source of iron............kidney, liver, heart........things like that...............yummo!
@sexysamir, don't worry, just have it checked so you can treat it, if necessary. Deal w/issues ASAP so they don't get out of hand. More hemoglobin in blood usually indicates congenital heart disease (dietary changes may be in order), or Cor pulmonale (failure of right side of heart, often caused by long-term high blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries & right ventricle of the heart). Your age is in your favor, but see a doc to possibly minimize worries in the future. Best of luck to you.
Por favor, podrian poner lo que dice el video... No pido que lo traduzcan al español, solo que lo pongan en ingles. Es que no entiendo bien lo que dice...
Our red blood cells make up 40% of our blood's volume. They're made continuously in the bone marrow, looking like flattened doughnuts without the holes. Red blood cells contain hemoglobin, a bright-red protein, which gives blood its color. When we breathe, as our blood passes through our lungs, oxigen molecules attach to the hemoglobin.
Then, the red-blood cells and hemoglobine transport oxigen throughout the body, and release it to all our cells and tissues. When the hemoglobine molecules are emptied, they attract carbon dioxide and other waste gases, which they take back to the lungs to be exhaled. Anemia occurs when there are too few blood cells, or not enough hemoglobine. Exhaustion is the common sign of anemia.
True, I'd been feeling super tired lately--crashing hard by 8 or 9 pm. I visited my doctor today, & discovered I had a severe iron deficiency--anemia. As soon as I got home, I hit the Internet for research, & this short vid explains quite a bit.
either you have massive blood loss, inadequate intake or malabsorption of iron. drink a lot of orange juice. it enhances the absorption of iron.....that is if they made you have some oral replacements.

0:41I thought Carbon Dioxide are NOT absorbed by the red blood cells but are just diffused in the blood (or in the plasma of the blood), No?
