Way too many geanstealers, an epic battle that would make any chapter master proud. By the way, those geanstealers were pretty good with thier armor saves. Good thing power fists don't alow those.

I never understood how to fire the bolter so fast without rapidly tapping my key until it jams. Is there any way to fire it like the AI does?

oh i love this game. i still have the win95 CD-ROM but i cant play it. is there a way to play this game with the CD? how did you get your game to work??

not sure if you can get it to work using the CD, the game is abandonware now so i just downloaded it and i think i used some DOS emulation, cant remember. If you google it you'll be sorted.

Hi you are very good at close combat on this game.

I never realised that you could decide the outcome in the close combat? I would just tap the fire bolter key wildly and see what happened (usually I lose). Completed the game with great difficulty not knowing this.

Can you tell me how you effectively can fight in close combat? What buttons do you press and when?

lol it can seem totally random when you first start playing :P. One button controls each arm, one arm generally blocks the other attacks, this isn't always the case but most times it is.

the enemy only has i think 5 attack animations, something like 2 or 3 of them can be beat by just mashing the attack arm. Another one you need to watch cause it will dodge an initial attack and kill you

The hardest one is the instant quick attack, in the video i fight it a few times very hard to deal with

I'm a little confused so there are two buttons one for attack and one for defence? Which you press irrespective of which side the attack is coming?

So if an attack is coming from the left side I press the block key and my dude will block the left, not the right? Please enlighten me!

I sometimes play around with the aliens by just setting there and defending the whole time and it makes the alien really mad and pissed off. I did it for 1 min straight b4 i died. It gets really hard bec when your health goes down you cant move (parry) as fast which makes it very hard to block.

Ah i never knew that when your health was low you cannot fight as well. interesting but vs Stealers it's either victory or death you never lose Health or have i not seen something yet?

ok i'll put it simple....the next time u fight an alien (stealer) up close watch your health bar each time u parry a stealers attack. Your right about the whole victory and death thing with the stealer but u do lose your health with each parry....but only a little bit then it regenerates quick enough to be back full in less than a second. The longer u fight them the more health u lose....but u wont die cos my health got to zero, u just cant fight as well. Watch your video clips....

Lol never noticed that before, too busy trying to fight, it looks like such a small amount that it wouldnt matter unless you do what you did and stay in a fight for as long as possible :D

My opinion is that u defend the alein attack1st then you attack back (kill it).

That mission the aliens are very deadly and they can kill u b4 u have a chance to move

Lol it happens twice in the video, but you can still get your block up just in time. TBH dude i'm at the level in hand to hand that i never really lose unless it's one of those quick strike pre mission Stealers that you mention and i mostly catch them. ...Except the one at the end :P

Yea i understand what your saying. Im more of a hand to hand techquies terminator than a shooter. I dont get killed that easy too. When i do its normally by the incredibly fast ones (they just put a claw in your face without a warning) i can pick them up too when im ready for them...if im off guard then they'll kill me.

Yeah the fast strike attack ones are brutal, the Storm hammer and shield is pretty cool, premanent left shield defence!

That move the alien did at 2:20 u can attack the alien when its doing that
