Kerry defended the belt against Bass twice, in West Palm Beach, FL on 5/14 and once in Tampa, FL on 5/19. In fact, 10 of his 13 title defenses were in Florida. He d. Terry Gordy on 5/7 in Ft. Worth, TX and d. Flair three straight times in Corpus Christi, Dallas and San Antonio. Kerry went to a DCOR against Jumbo Tsuruta in Tokyo on 5/22. Flair regained the belt two days later in Yokosuka, Japan. R.I.P. Kerry. :( Thanks for finding this.

this looks like the work of a fellow, who in the late 70s marketed super 8 films of matches in the midwest and south. he was extremely generous about showing films to potential buyers. he was based in normal, illinois, and was absolutely totally obsessed with pro wrestling. i believe he later took over a promotion in illinois.

Bill Alfonso was the main ref in CWF at that time. not so surprising he reffed that match.
