i really like how you cut this. we can fix the audio quite easily, but i really like how you pieced it together, especially the back and forth during the "job interview" portion of the segment. I also like how you let the audio transition you into the next scene. how cool would it have been if you had that "walking" shot down that path. it would have been a nice parting shot. anyway, really liked it. great job.
ARGH! The footage is so dark and over saturated again! I'm going to color correct this on a different monitor... that stupid hi gloss monitor sucks; I can never tell how the footy is going to turn out.
so, thats all that i could criticize about right now. but like i said, it was good, i had fun listening to what they talked about (they're action figures not superheros, hahah), and i AM looking forward to the next episode.
but maybe you didnt do this because this is more YOUR style (and i just realized you only had one camera)? which is cool and different. the background of Tina's interview kinda sucks, but its cinematic (the bench all the way down to the 2/3's of the shot. the other background 'view shots' were nice, and actually good amount of it, since it wasnt a very long video. these people are, honestly, "Ditzy". WHICH IS GOOD, haha people like ditzy sometimes, it entertains them.
i first watched it in regular quality. but now watching it in HIGH quality, omfg, big ass difference. i compared it to The Hills, or Laguna Beach (because to me, it seemed like this kind of reality when they talked to eachother, but individual interviews it reminds me of Real World), and Real World, and thought about how more FIXED Laguna Beach and the Hills were. like, no camera movement at all with those guys.
over all, it looks like a good job. i enjoyed watching it, it wasnt like, "wtf is this...uh, i'll just post something positive", i actually enjoyed the video. one thing i noticed is the free hand camera angle adgustment. i really dont know what its called, but like, when the camera man WALKS to the side while focusing on the subjects? well anyway, to me, it differed from all the other shots. like all the shots were all at fixed points, but that one was a 'moving' shot.i forgot the terms...
