You know, I always thought that all nu metal bands have DJs and use scratches and futuristic sounds like Linkin Park does. I was obviously very much wrong and now I'll have to split nu metal into two subgenres: SF (Science-fiction of Scratch-futuristic) metal and IDKWISNAUITNU (I don't know what is so new and urban in this new urban) metal. For example, SF is: Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Disturbed, Tribal Ink... and IDKWISNAUITNU is: Slipknot P.O.D. etc.

Linkin Park rocks. Though I liked them better when they were more of a screaming rock/rap band, instead of all slow and gloomy (some call emo) as they are in their latest album (Minutes to Midnight?)

@Maniaclaughter i also liked them when they made metal type music, easier to run and another few songs were softer in meteora, but also had music like thier old stuff.u should check out givin up by them, its probably thier best song of minutes to midnight.
