Have you EVEN PICKED up a EVH guitar?? It's too small for normal hands, not LARGE as suggested here. And while humor, it must be based on fact to make much sense. Also, Why try to wreck a good interview? I don't see much point, unless the source for it is available on YT for example. EVH wanted a guitar that was unique, and he experimented with no prior knowledge of the tech side of guitars, he wound his own pickups which is impressive enough, dipping them in wax to help hone the sound he wanted
