I saw Midnight Oil do this song in tribute to Rebecca and Shane. It was an awesome and very respectful harder rock version. But I can't find it on the YouTubes...
Man, Jane Gazzo was the best on a saturday on the j's. Always playing great music that you never heard before and would most liekly never hear again if you didn't chase it down. Never felt the need to change stations when she was on. I moved to London a while after she went there but she was just playing commercial stuff there :(
fuck this takes me back, living in Brissy in the late 90's,listening to this on the back deck of an unrenevated Queenslander drinking ice cold VB throw downs,, I had all I needed at that moment, now as I sit in my basement flat in London I long for those days...
I remember choosing to watch Rebecca's Empire intead of Garbage at Livid, it's one of those gigs that I will always remember. Dam I miss those days when music meant something.I can't believe that was all 15 Years ago now!
She isone of Australia's and the worlds unheralded heroes, a true songstress who can compete with the worlds best in the genre. A truly great voice. The empire could was a world class band. O.Mra ia a genius. simplistic? Unremarkable? You guys got cloth ears and no taste
auspete, thanks a mill for letting me know about "The Way of All Things" finally being uploaded. I look forward to watching it and hitting the "replay" button ad nauseum!
Don't like the "softer" parts in Atomic Electric but started really well... reminded me of a cross between Frente, The Drones and Something for Kate... who's for compairisons anyway?

I saw Midnight Oil do this at a gig 1 night which was awsome, nice vocals by Peter and a great tribute to Rebeccas Empire.
Anyhow I also saw the Empire 1 night at Fannys
nightclub in Newcastle and I have to say 1 of the best bands I have ever heard live.Nice performance here 2!

I love all of Atomic Electric, I think as a song it hangs together extremely well.

Sadly I don't believe I do. Rebecca has her own myspace so maybe you could go straight to the source and ask her?

auspete, do you happen to have the videoclip of the fantastic song, "The Way of All Things" that you can upload, pretty please?

Someone has now uploaded The Way Of All Things... if you haven't seen it yet.

What can I say to that? Atomic Electric is a grower. Car Radio even more so.
