this reminds me of either The Jackson5, (who played in trade for not getting whopped too bad) or those ducks you would see at carnivals/boardwalk that would play a piano for feed..
This was GREAT Ladies - have really enjoyed watching you progress!
Note to the audience - I know you want to clap and show that you're really in there with the musicians.. lol.. but it is extremely distracting, because typically the audience is on an entirely different beat.
I must congratulate the girls though, for 'holding time' throughout! Great stuff!
The "Darlin' Boys" on Andy Griffith never smile. That's whats so funny about them. Completely expressionless. Charlene does the smilin' when she sings. These girls are just plain cute and good and the little one is trying so hard. I want to hear the music, not be dazzled with some fakie, plastic grin. The little smiles you see here are for each other in the group and their families. I say great job!
Shut up, Fool. So many nice things you could have said and you choose this. Go watch the Partridge Family or Jackson Five for "smiles". They are just very young.......get it? When you listen to a CD are you picturing smiles? Do you really need to be smiled at? Here ya go.... :)
It's not a CD fool, it's a video... yes, when I listen to CD, I do picture smiles... Does it not surprise you that there are many other ppl suggesting the same thing? BECAUSE they are young, NOW is the time to correct bad habits, and that frown on their faces IS a bad habit, something that should be corrected NOW... you da fool my friend.
It's great to see young people carrying on the bluegrass tradition. I think they're doing great. I very impressed. Most 14 year olds would not have the nerve to be out in front like this.
What is it with people on youtube forever telling girl musicians to 'smile'. Coaches only tell untalented morons to smile, because the untalented morons aint got nothing else to do, cos they dont pay instruments. Oasis dont smile, Neil Young dont smile. Serious musicians dont - they concentrate on playing !!!!!!
Super-good! I'm very impressed. The Violin sounds great, the Guitar is very good, the messup was cute, and brought the only good smile of the bunch. Mandolin is good, and more practice will make it smooth.
Excellent! Who is the young lady playing the fiddle? Does she have any other videos posted? Who would have thought the little half-pint mandolinist would become a budding superstar?
very nicely done ladies thank ever soo much for your talents great job one of my favorite bluegrass songs heres a idea for you howabout the song arkansas travelor that would be a good 1 thank u ladies *S* winks take a bow huggs to each 1 of u made this old man happy your friend mark
You did see that they do have a banjo player, look for will the circle be unbroken, and sittin on top of the world and I think the girl on the left is the one playing the banjo in those 2 songs.
who gives a shit what kinda guitar it is they are gonna be good! u can put a 20 dollar saga banjo in earl scruggs hand and it'll sound like a granada..Great talent girls! keep pickin
Very sweet, love the music. all played very well, especialy the Young gurl in the Pink shirt playing the madeline (sorry if i spelled that wrong), the second solo. Do you have any of her playing by her self/ i always love the sound of that instrument and if this vid was taken 14 months ago, i bet she has improved alot. Let me know if you do or if she has her own account. thanks!
Do you play music, specifically high tempo Bluegrass? I seriously doubt it. Otherwise, you'd have an idea of the level of concentration required. In addition, they're 14, not 25!
Not to down play the other two's musical ability, because everyone here is incredible; however the fiddle player and the blonde on the right, are aaammmaazing. Incredible playing ladies, don't stop.
Very good! You have a nice Cajun type of shuffle on that fiddle. Come over to my YouTube site and listen to Emily play "Cajun Fiddle." I'll bet you'll be playing it in 10 minutes! The crowd will love it.
oh yeah, i almost forgot...BRAVO!!
