corn syrup isn't like syrup you would eat raw- you cook with it. Almost like vegetable oil

if you don't have corn syrup just don't use it. it will work fine without it

Try to use a wooden bigger spoon next time , and heat it with a good heatplate with different tempatures. but for a smokebomb its easy and enough like this

@JoshuaDaPeck It is no worse than the store bought smoke bombs but it does burn hotter. treat it like an open flame because if its not in a thick casing it does spew flames. at the same time give it air homes because large, tightly packed smokebombs do explode

@onixonix13 once it has mostly dried you have to make sure no open flame touches the mixture- since it is already hot even a lick of flame can ignite it. just do it outside and use a high-rimmed pot or pan.

@xSILENTALARM1 You need to boil it- you could try leaving it to dry with a small amount of it in a cup but It will take a while (and if you do leave a sample to dry just use water, sugar and kno3)

@coqoi Sorry but I am not sure.... pretty much be careful not to let any open flame touch it (use a high rimmed container) and turn off the heat immediately if you see smoke or heavy amounts of steam that might actually be smoke. all you are really doing is nixing it together in the water then evaporating the water so it becomes 1 solid mixture instead of powder

@jonathans1212 well as your cooking it you can't make it too hot or it will bubble over- you also have to start stirring it really fast- once you get paste that part you just keep stirring until it is peanut butter-ish

if it bubbles up quickly remove it from the heat source and let the bubbles die down- turn the heat down if you can

@espeno663 yes- mix kno3 (potassium nitrate) and sugar with 5 measurements of potassium and 3 measurements of sugar

you can boil all of that into 4 measurements of water OR grind it into a very fine powder and mix it (cooking it is much better)

you can also add a tablespoon of baking soda- its supposed to make it better

@Boobmonkey123 yes- its never good to breath smoke or fumes of any kind because it can irritate your lungs- but this mix is no more dangerous that the stuff you buy at a firework store.... in fact it smells like candy from all the sugar :)

@jacobredelk ya I didn't say it in the video but I actually added a pinch of baking soda- corn syrup and baking soda both have somewhat different effects but I have not had time to actually compare them side by side with 2 100% perfect mixes

I've also heard that grants stump remover works too

but be careful because other stump remover brands may not have kno3- good luck!

you could just grind them up into a fine powder and stir it until it is mixed thoroughly if you don't want to cook it
